Yeah, I guess it's about time to do a blog again. I mean it's only been three months since my last one...

One year since...

It's been exactly a year since I posted my first blog. It was the afternoon of January 24th, 2007 when I just felt like writing one for the hell of it, even though I knew no one would read it. I'll tell you, the past year has been an amazing one on this site to say the least. And to be honest, I can't believe it's only been a year. It seems like a lifetime ago since I started doing things around here. I gained the Kim Possible editorship position about ten months ago, and I still keep a very close eye on everything around there. For the start of the second active year on here, I'm thinking about going to find another popular show guide to go after since Kim Possible has long since ended. Who knows what the future will bring...

6000 CPs

I set the six thousand CP's milestone for the Kim Possible guide this past week. Yes, the show has been over for four months, but I still find stuff to contribute to the guide. By the looks of it, I'm going to be the editor forever (or at least until I retire). But honestly, that is the farthest thing from my mind. I love that guide.

Snow... in Georgia?

What's been up with the weather around here? Here in northern Georgia we have endured three different winter weather events within the past few weeks. I like this area because of the lack snow in the winter. I mean I'm all for cold weather (I live for it in fact), but I can't stand snow or ice. It's just a nuisance. I don't understand how you people up north can bear it for several months every single winter.

It just isn't the same

What has this site turned to? I know I don't post blogs anymore, but I'm still here a good twenty times every single day. It seems like the previous TV.com that I was a part of last summer is all but gone. Just about everyone that I remember has long since left this place. The community has just fallen to a bunch of younger members that shouldn't even be here (if you look at the ToS).

Just to catch up...

Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year...

Yeah, you get the point.

QUESTION TO ANSWER: About how long has it been since you posted your first blog?

Yep. This site has really changed.

Many of the good users seem to have left or been banned, unfortunately.

Hiya bbq! It's nice to hear from you again.
I havn't noticed many changes... just a few. But I get what you mean. A lot has happened!
I'm so jealous. I wish it'd snow in Florida. I haven't see snow since I was 4 years old. More then ten years....
I'm too afraid to look at my old blogs. My blogs were a little n00bish back then... But it brings back old memories. You were my first friend on here, right? You helped me out a lot. Thank you.

I know what you mean, tv.com had changed. I hardly come on here. It seems like the the new members just just... i can't even find the right words for it. But not just here it seems like all that on FF.net too. Like all the good DP writers have left. I read the stories now I just want say "you could do A LOT better." But we miss u here BBQ. and i knew after KP & DP ended i wouldn't be on as much.

My first blog was written back in...oh, God, like more than two years ago Happy Belated Thanksgiving, Merry Belated Christmas, Happy Belated New Year. Oh, and you missed my Best of 2007! But you can look into my blogs and find it (it's written in five different blogs )

Good luck with finding a new editorship I agree with you when you say this site isn't what it used to be Oh well Hmm...it's been a little over a year since I posted my first blog

And yeah, I sub a lot to the KP guide still not so much lately due to me being busy), but such a great show really deserves it. Also, I'm hunting for Editorships for some of the anime shows I watch/have watched Many of the Editors for less popular anime shows usually have around 100-200 points (they've only added the episodes -_-), so it's not really a big problem to surpass them, I just have to find the time and mtoivation.
And I'm the opposite; I like snow (only to look at, but not walk in, though), but I can't stand cold. Lately that has been a problem with Norway, or at least my part of the country. We've had cold weather, but it's just too hot for snow to come. But it's too cold to be comfortable, especially combined with the winds and downpours we have
And yeah, I really see how you feel about tv.com. I used to love the Avatar forum, but now it's full of trolls, noobs and spammers. Luckily the KP forum has got good, mature people posting on it. The same goes for the Bleach forums, at least mostly.
QUESTION: I posted my first in March. ACtually, I did my every first thing here (save forum posting) in March The excact date I'm not sure of though... the first or scond week, I think

First blog: Afternoon of Apr. 8, '07. So, it's been about 10 months. I don't visit Tv anymore. I'm mostly a Gamespot , & GameFaqs guy. When I do occasionally visit Tv, it seems to have more hits from a much younger crowd{ex. younger than 13 yr.s old}. Either that, or people have now tried to emulate typing like a monkey, or other animal*lets out a slight laugh*. In any event, very cool to see you on here. 8}

1357900- Good to see you too. I remember when you used to come to the KP forums. That was back in the 'good old days'. Oh, and I couldn't agree with you more about the typing like a monkey part. A lot of people around here just need to take a typing class or something.
Posted Jan 26, 2008 4:43 pm PT
Yeah, 1357900 has a point there. It's few things I hate more than an excess lack of ability to type correctly. I'm typing better than many people here - and I'm Norwegian. I think that says a lot.
