Well... lately I have seen that the number of people tracking my contributions has grown, so I want to think that my contributions are smart and have collaborated to change some people's minds... in any case, I thought that as more people might be reading my blog, why not make one of those memes to know people more and see what you think after all ^^;

Name: Brenda.

Sex: Yeah, you guessed correctly: female.

Nickname: Jeez... bi, bren, zelda, takkipi, T-chan, hana o_o; I guess everybody calls me as they want.

Age: 21 years... I don't know if I have lived them correctly but haha, I have enjoyed them.

Hobbies: I wouldn't consider playing videogames as a hobby since that's what I do for living haha, but I like gardening, surfing the web, digital design, sewing and collecting stickers lol

Favourite videogame? Man... do I hate this question... as you can see I'm a hardcore Zelda freak, all Zeldas are great, they are my favourite series/games/whatever ever *and the only ones I always cry after finishing one*, and Ocarina of Time was my favourite until Wind Waker came out which was my favourite before Twilight Princess came out, which probably will be my favourite until Phantom Hourglass is released, so yeah, you get the idea. But apart from that, I love almost all Adventure genres and First Person Shooters, my current obsession is Red Steel (All those jerks out there saying the graphics suck and the game is bad *including gamespot editors* can kiss my ass ^_^) because it has a very good complexity level and the soundtrack is awesome.

Which game genres do you hate? RPGs... Holy crap, only God knows how much I hate this genre, especially Final Fantasy... I used to like the game, and I don't know if this has happened to you, but I began to hate it since all the freaks out there thought they were hardcore just by beating FF7... meh, I hate all the worshipping on it, and I love how they say later that Nintendo is all about sagas... LMFAO.

Most underrated game? Katamari Damacy... and Red Steel nowadays. I mean, if you are one of those gamers that think a game is good because of the quantity of pixels they have, then you are an idiot. Red Steel is a fantastic game all over it, maybe one of the best on its genre. The story immerses you so much, the whole yakuza relationships, the different weapons, the fascinating scenarios and the music makes this one a treasure immediately! And don't misunderstand me, I'm an xbox360 fan myself and I'm not saying it's better than Gears of War or Resident Evil or anything, but when Red Steel was made, it definitely broke the mould where it was contained... and what to say about the multiplayer fun! That's MAD fun. I can't wait for its sequel.

Most overrated game? Haha... is very funny when people are asked this question and all the PS fanboys say "zohmfg Gears of War!1!!1eleventyone!" So let me tell you something. If you think Gears of War is overrated, then why don't you go and check all the freaking overrated games Sony has? Bloody hell! If I name them all I won't end, so let me give you a few examples: Killzone, Gran Turismo, Final Fantasy... for God's sake, none of them have original concepts, probably just Final Fantasy, but after playing like 2394839085 different Final Fantasy I have realised that is the same repeated all over again x_x; not entertaining and fun at all.

Favourite developing company? Kojima Productions ergo Konami too, TECMO, CAPCOM, Hudson Soft, Nintendo lol

Favourite producer? Hahaha well... Eiji Aonuma is MY man lol, I respect him and I hope to become his apprentice and maybe one day his wife even if he's like 20 years older than me (I'm a firm believer that there's no age for love haha, because is for my convenience) but I'm Hideo Kojima's concubine. And Tomonobu Itagaki's. But I also want to have Miyamoto's babies. Yeah, I'm a videogame producer whore.

Videogame icons? Princess Zelda, Link especially the "Twilight Princess" Link (y hallo therrre =*), Marth, Titania, Revolver Ocelot, Mama-san, Pit, Master Higgins (does anyone remember him? The little kid from Adventure Island for the NES!), Drumstick, Star Wolf, the Elite Beat Divas and Agent J and Agent Chieftain as well as the Lieutenant Kahn, Avery Johnson, Phoenix Wright, Kousuke Tsukimori, Sora, ahhh well... sooooo damn many.

Favourite videogame OST? Currently is Red Steel, but I also like Perfect Dark Zero, Elite Beat Agents, Gears of War, Katamari Damacy, Okami, F-Zero GX, Metroid Prime: Hunters, and many more that I can't remember.

Currently playing: Well... I have a TON of DS games I have to finish, so right now I'm in my mission to finish Diddy Kong Racing, and after it will go Trauma Center: Under the knife, and for Wii I'm currently doing Cooking Mama.

Last adquisitions? Blazing Angels for Wii (I'm a flight simulator fan), Zeruda no Densetsu: Mugen no Sunadokei (japanese version of Phantom Hourglass) and I just preordered my fantabulous Otona no DS Kao Training!!! *yay for DS with camera applications!*

Your favourite console? My beautiful Nintendo DS!!!! I loooooove it! It's definitely worth the 150 USD I paid for it. I already own more than 20 games and I'm aiming for a bunch more!!!!

Favourite company? Haha, do I have to say it? Nintendo of course, actually anything outside from Sony is alright with me.

Now... moving on. What about music? OK, I do listen to a lot of music, but 98% of what I listen to is japanese music. Pop, rock, r&b anything is ok as long as it is in japanese. I don't know, but I get a different vibe from asian music than american artists. However, I am a huge Kylie Minogue/Savage Garden - Darren Hayes/Ronan Keating/Robbie Williams/Westlife fan. Hell yes.

TV shows? Sorry, I don't watch TV unless there is a game in the monitor.

Movies? Hmmm as well, I like japanese movies, but my favourite movie of all time has got to be Moulin Rouge or Big Fish. I'm all about Ewan McGregor.

Do you do something else than gaming? Practically not haha, but I work in a marketing company in the translation/digital design department and I'm a university student in the process on majoring Engineering in Mechatronics (that damn piece of sh*t and on summer, I attend summer workshops in DigiPen Institute of Technology. I want to become a Bachelor in Fine Arts and Production Animation.

Languages? I understand in a native level english and spanish, and I'm in the middle level of german and japanese.

What do you hate? EMOS! Those f*cking attention-craving bastards... PlayStation fanboys lol, the new waves of punk rock and the bands that play that kind of music.

Favourite smell? Hmmm... soil soaked by the rain, lavender, ocean breeze.

Colour? Purple, or any shade between red and blue.

Food? Arabian food definitely!

What else? I don't know haha, I'm a pisces, and a tiger in chinese horoscope. I'm a pseudo catholic with buddhist ideologies, I'm in love with my fantastic japanese boyfriend but I have love to share with everybody haha... and I guess that's all for the moment. I hope you have liked all this and if you didn't I'm sorry lol, you are welcome to send me more questions or whatever you feel like saying to me, but I don't accept insults from PS raging fanboys. B*tches, go and complaint to your mama, I have better things to do than reading your thousand reasons why FF should pwn me.

Well... it won't be a surprise to anyone that someone writes about the E3 on that person's blog, but is definitely a surprise for me because this will be my first blog entry in gamespot after 3 years of suscription.

Which word would you pick to describe this E3? Probably dilemma... dilemma of having great titles in the palm of my hand and yet having an emptiness feeling that doesn't leave me feeling satisfied.

Even with the huge releases and everything, I'm still a bit dissapointed. I really expected a lot more from the 3 companies, however, I don't know exactly what did I expect. Maybe the fact that the E3 was revamped and new things had to be done, was the fact that made me feel a bit empty this time, however, I can clearly say I'm not satisfied.

To me the least important conference was Sony's definitely. I didn't care about their new PSP which is more light and has an input on tv. I prefer to buy cheaper dvds than their format of movies and watch them in my xbox360 or whatever, and a star wars PSP? Can we please talk about it? I mean, that will be just an item collector for star wars fans, me, being a regular gamer, won't buy that for God's Sake... the whole new colour and conectivity with PS3 and being it more light reminded me a lot of the DS Lite. Also, price reduction. I mean, the freaking console is still too over the top for me, I could get my 360 and my Wii even for cheaper than the PS3, and I'm not definitely buying it for just 2 or 3 interesting games they have.
Killzone 2 is just a bad copy of Halo, just like its predecessor was. But then again, this is in my very own opinion, you can respect but not share and I will understand it. To me, the only key game they have right now is Metal Gear Solid 4 definitely, for that game I would kill for a PS3, but damn, I would kill, not pay like 500USD it costs with even the price reduction and whatever. To me, Sony is still the big loser of this year.

Now Nintendo. Nintendo did show maaaaaaaaaaaaaaany good games and new gadgets that will definitely complement the functionality of the console. But I'm a bit dissapointed that they are bringing a lot of casuals now, I mean that's very cool, but please, don't leave us real gamers behind! I'm a truly Nintendo fan myself, and I laughed a lot when I saw the intro of the NES talking about being left behind lol, but seriously, it's very cool to see my mom and grandma playing Brain Age on my DS, but I also want some games for my taste too, the kind of games Nintendo used to make... but, yeah there's always a but, I'm very pleased with the games they showed for the Wii. Super Smash Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and my very longed Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, as well as Mario Kart and RE: Umbrella Chronicles and the new Soul Calibur were some, but not all, of the highlights of Nintendo's Conference. Another thing I didn't like was the fact that they talked too much about graphics and statistics, I mean ok, but leave that to Sony, Nintendo! We don't need to know you're pwning the market, we need to know when will you release good games! I'm a female gamer and I don't need to know that my female friends are also getting a DS just for a fashion trend -_____-;;
Also, I really hope they make the WiiFit compatible with other games, because I bet that thing is going to be expensive and if it's made to be used with only that game... I ain't buying it, or prolly yes if I do have the money.

And Microsoft... well, definitely the winner of the show. Great graphics, amazing titles, entertaining online gameplay, what else do I need? Well, probably I needed a bit more "interesting" games, I love Halo, Assassin's Creed, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, RE5 and a lot of the other titles they showed, but I want some easy, chill out, relaxing games... I remember that when I played GoW I was sooo addicted to it I finished it within 1 week, and it left me really traumatised, so I wish they could also find a balance between real, hardcore games like the titles they presented, and they could release more chill out games, like the new Viva Pinata. I don't know about you but I'm a huge Viva Pinata fan myself.

So yeah, there you go, my 2 cents on the E3, as many people might agree with me, many won't, so as you could see above, this is my very own opinion, and you might not share it, but please respect it.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like b_darwich_hayes.
b_darwich_hayes must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could b_darwich_hayes possibly have for not rating a single film?
