No place to step, but to step on the broken glass,
letting the blood fall... letting pain seep through my
skin.. No one there to help me... just leaving
me there... Just like being left in the darkness...
falling... falling faster and faster.. no one there
to catch me... no one there to hold me.. just falling..
like an angel with her wings torn...
Hello, my lovely kittens and mice.
Oh god, yes...I'm alive. I'm alive and I shall eat your brains! ![]()
*Coughs. /zombie moment.*
Anyway, sorry I haven't posted much...well, anything, since July. I've been busy (traveling and polishing my novel [yay!-it's-really-not-that-fun-yay!]), even though I've posted a bit on my external blog (--Edited out for security reasons--). I didn't think about leaving you all behind and forgotten. Pfft, why would I do that? I'm a mod.
>___> I care for all my kittens and mice.
(Why are you guys my kittens and mice again?)
I've also been playing Disgaea: Hour of Darkness again, but I haven't had time recently, mainly because I've been polishing (yay!-again-it's-really-not-that-fun-yay!). I should polish and polish it, and polish it until it's polished to the bone (well, not literally, but to the point where it's as best as it can be; though, even then, it could be better). I had to do some..."fun" things with MS Word (not supposed to sound dirty!); basically, I want to create two separate documents for my novel, and instead of just pressing "Save As", I want one document to have everything (including the two epilogues) and the other document being the actual whole that I'll be sending out when requested. Well, Microsoft Word decided it wasn't going to save and give me a stupid error. What error you ask?
"'Document's name here' does not exist."

I worked on it for five hours and forty minutes. Even though it said the second document didn't exist, I did it again and it didn't take as long as last time. Then again, last time, I had to fight with the straight and smart quotes... Grrr. I hate smart quotes.
(If you're wondering what smart quotes are, they are the quotes that you basically see in books; some are rather "curly" like. Straight quotes are just as stated: straight [ " ]).
Anyway, that's all for now. I'll talk about more of my adventures later. Also, my mom found out that the cat doesn't like medicine very much. She usually just lets it drool out of her mouth, but the last time my mom gave her medicine, she spit it all over my brother's face and shirt. >__> Sucks for him.
So, a couple of weeks ago I started writing the second book (I don't have a title yet. I want either Knights of Old(e) (I don't know if I want the e or not) or just have it as Knights), and last night I started working on my third book i.l.l.:Iliad Lethe Lionhart. I will be working on both books around the same time, switching between the second and third, depending which one I'm having writer's block with. I know what I want with Knights (Working Title), so it won't be hard to keep both consistent. They are in different perspectives as well (especially from the first). I am also posting the first five pages of Ashes on [--Edited out for security reasons--]. Here's the two prologues:

A few things I have been doing:
-I have been thinking about another blog outside of GS. I did have with wordpress, but I'm not happy with it, so I'm going with google (blogger.com). I want a place where I can post about my writings and such besides here, plus it would come in handy if I become published and all. ![]()
-I have been working on two book ideas that I've been thinking of; one is a continuation of Ashes and the other one is about a vampire/shape-shifter war in Africa (don't ask). I'm not sure which I'll do first, thogh I may do both at the same time, depending on which one I'm in the mood to write.
-I haven't really felt like playing FFIX lately. I don't know what game I want to play, but I really want to play FFIX. I just might pick up again and play some more later today, I don't know though.
-I finished my query and sent it to a couple of literary agents. Now I'm just waiting for a response, so we'll see how that goes.
That's pretty much it.
The new blog is Enigma Inklings. I was trying to come up with a name that would go well with my writings, but I couldn't think of anything, so my friend came up with Dark Inklings (which was available at the time; I don't know if it still is). I liked it, but I wanted something more, so I thought about it and thought of Enigma Inklings and we both agreed that it fit well together, so there you go.
That's how the name came to be.
I'm not going to abandon this blog--I have no reason to. Just...some things might be more violent for GS in my writings or there might be swearing, so I gotta put it somewhere if I ever decide to put it up, you know? Gotta follow those rules, especially being a moderator and all. ![]()
Someone suggested that I show a few snippets of my book as a "teaser". I'm thinking about it, but I'm not sure if I'm going to. Will have to find out and see what happens.
Poedon, there might be signed copies, I don't know. xD Will have to wait and see when it happens.
