I was showing my friend HS and I wanted to show him the beginning of the game. He was mentioning that in H3, there's no huge battle where it's you against everyone else. I saw my opening and went in.

If any of you have played it, you know the first scene is just that - you against the world.

He was amazed.

Too bad that in my eagerness to show him that scene, I started a new game. Deleted ALL my work in normal mode, all the unlocked vids, everything. I couldn't even show him the end sequence.

Anyway, now he's gone and my bf and I are playing the game a second time around. It's more fun the 2nd time around than the first. We're getting all stars which is really tough on Kai's missions.

Anyone who says this game has no replay value should delete their file and start over. It's just as addictive, just as fun and even though you know what's going to happen, you see all the little details that you may have missed.

For example, when Kai is saving Shen while he's walking on the bridge, there's 4 - count them, 4 - health jars. If you don't miss a single soldier and you get all the jars, it's an easy 3 stars.

The game definitely has replay value.

Last night, my boyfriend and I finally became the proud parents of a PS3. We cradled it in our arms for a few min (less for me because I am a big klutz), took a few pics, and then started our updates.

Our experience at the local Gamestop was the most aggravating 10 min of my life. Our cashier, let's call him "Jeff" got us our PS3's, got us our new game (Oblivion w/ the guide) and the PS2 memory card adapter and rung up our $700+ bill only to ask us if we were SURE that we wanted this. As soon as he asked, I looked over at my guy because I knew what was coming and I spot a 360-fanboy from a mile away.

While my guy talked to Jeff about MGS4 going over to the 360 and the death of PS3's by the end of the year, I wondered if he A) was in his right mind and B) if he thought I was an idiot. I know better than to argue with a fanboy, but I thought it would be a little gag to ask him to back up his claims.

"The only game that I am looking forward to on the PS3 is Lair. All the other exclusives aren't worth it and MGS4 is going to be ported to the 360," said Jeff.

"Really?!?" I asked in the best shocked face I could muster. "Where'd you hear that?"

"It's everywhere," said Jeff

"Yeah but which executive said that?"

"Everyone" (Strike one for Jeff). "Plus, the PS3's are getting discontinued by the end of the year."

"Wow!" I say. "Where'd you get that from?"

"Oh, it's a guarantee. Did you know they don't even make the 20g anymore??? They aren't selling. That's why we have 20 of these in the back."

"Well how many 360's do you have?"

"Oh, we have some of those too, but the PS3's are going to be discontinued." (Strike 2 - no credibility)

"Well then, I'm glad I got one now. But what about the games that are coming out in Sept? Don't you think Heavenly Sword looks cool?"

"Nope. I've played it - it's a crappy God of war with a chick. They're calling it 'Goddess of War' and FFXIII doesn't interest me so..."

"Where'd you play Heavenly Sword? I'd love to get my hands on it."

"At the expo"

"Which expo was this?"

"The one from 2005. We got some tickets and we checked it out." (Strike 3 for Jeff - 2005?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?)

At that point, I thanked him for his time and my guy and I laughed til we were blue in the face. My boyfriend actually looked it up online to get the quote that the 360 dual-layered discs can't handle MGS4.

Anyone else have the same experience?
