So I've finally made a decision on my next tattoo design (inside right ankle)....and this is the winner:

I LOVE it!! This is just the sorta design I wanted too & I'm getting these colours too...but I may slightly change it so it starts green (not yellow) and bleeds more into the purple instead of just slightly So I rang my tattoo artists today to arrange a time...was kind of hoping in the next week or so - no chance...there is no free appointments until freaking NOVEMBER!!!!! damn it!!! I was so revved up and ready to get it done too!!! *sigh* so I've booked a time on Friday 7 November during my lunch break to get it done Can't wait!!

So it seems the favourite topic of conversation in here at the moment is the new TV.com layout....I have to say the first couple days I didn't like it coz its so BRIGHT and I couldn't seem to post a blog & things were different. But I've come around and I really like it it could still do with losing a bit of the brightness but least I can blog now!! I just have to check and see if I can change my birthday data....I went and put mine is as 12/02 (12 Feb) without noticing that I needed to put it in as 02/12 (Feb 12) - bloody American date system!!!!! ggrrrrr

Still haven't bought tickets to Tasmania for Christmas yet.....guess the hold up??!! Yep - my brother!! He doesn't have a credit card so the tickets have to go on mine - I only have a small credit limit & buying 2 tickets will almost put me over so I want the money upfront from him. Well I've been trying to get hold of him for the past couple weeks with no success If I don't hear from him in the next couple days I'm gonna book my tickets & let him fend for himself!! Which will be interesting seeing as how he's never booked plane tickets before; let alone flown anywhere!!! But my temper & patience has almost worn out - so its his own bloody fault!!!

Work is hectic as usual - especially with the financial markets in upheaval nearly everyday (Wall Street has a lot to answer for!!) so lots of paperwork & nervous clients to deal with. Last week saw me & four other of my workmates taking the Justice of the Peace written exam (3 hours long!!!) - never again!!! OMG after putting in a full hard days work & then having to do a tough written exam - my brain was mush & my eyes were burning!! But it was deemed as necessary to have more JP's in the office so that we can certify documents & identification and that we don't have to rely on the 2 we have currently (in case they're away etc). Didn't really want to do it - but it was kind of pushed on us so I took my pain. Won't get the test results for a couple months though....

Hmmm.....what else has been happening? Oh I had a hangover from hell on Sunday (my own fault) I was at home on my own Saturday nite watching 27 Dresses than Armageddon...2 glasses of wine & 2 strong vodka & oranges later (half & half) I was in bad way!! Seeing double and literally crawling upstairs to bed!!

My text msg ...er....flirtations with Scott have continued but not quite as exciting or libidinous/raunchy as they were a couple weeks ago. Which is kind of a good thing - my mobile bill is going to hurt this month!!! One nite I think there was over 100msgs in my inbox from Scott alone - and I sent just as many if not more to him!!! I've always had a thing for him though - ever since year 11 we did have a very brief thing at the end of year 12 (he also took me to the year 12 formal) but it didn't last - much to both our regrets - I think we've both taken responsibility for that! He makes me laugh & he makes me feel wanted & sexy & also slightly incredulous that he actually still feels that way for me!!! Its freakin AWESOME!!!!

Anyway, I had better get going - the boss is away this week but I don't think I should spend all my time bludging (too much work!) plus I need to check if something's been done or I'm going to get another earful from an irate client!

So I realised the other day that its been almost a year since I got my tattoo done (the ankh on my left shoulder) and its about time I decided on the design for my next Yes I'm becoming a junkie - I'd love to have a whole bunch but I have to be careful coz of work So I'll stick to small-ish ones where I can keep them covered....or at least where they're not always noticeable!!!

So the butterfly will be on the inside of my right ankle - and I'll add colour to whatever design I ultimately choose. Can't decide if I'll stick to pink & purple (like my ankh) or if I'll branch out - I'd love a beautiful blue & green butterfly....what do you think?? I love the input!! Also if you know of any gorgeous butterfly designs like these let me know!!

The black silohette kitty would go on my right shoulder....probably. Has to be a black silohette cat - nothing else....its been hard to find designs like that too; but so happy I found these!!!

LOL I've spent most of today (Friday) texting Scott - he's a guy I went to year 11 & 12 with, really cute and we had a brief thing at the end of year 12 *sigh* niiiiiice hmmm......so ummm yes...he's living in Cairns and doing an apprenticeship for a trade. He aced his latest exam so he's going out tonite to celebrate....ok he was already going out but this just adds to it! He'll probably be getting free drinks coz there's a girl who's trying to get into his pants.....so its a guy's perfect nite - free drinks & the promise of sex at the end!! typical bloody man!! LOL anyway - he's given me 'homework' - get either pleasantly buzzed or drunk as a skunk to celebrate his aceing his test! LOL cheeky cheeky boy....it probably doesn't sound as funny to everyone else as it is to me - I spose that's coz I was reading his text msg's

Here are 6 random facts about me:

1. I tell myself stories to get to sleep (mostly involving characters from TV shows)...at the moment I've written myself into Supernatural & I've got a thing going with Dean....sometimes I have a couple stories going at once. I also have another tcouple hat I've just made up.
2. I have to put my right shoe on first every time...I'm not superstitious or anything - just gotta do it.
3. I don't officially start work till 8.30am but I'm always at work around 8.10am and if I don't get there till after than I feel like I'm running late and I get slightly panicked.
4. I am becoming a habitual/compulsive liar - I can tell lies with the best of 'em and people can't tell...well now they may
5. I HATE cleaning - I leave as long as I possible can before I do any sort of cleaning...dishes are usually done every couple days once I run out of clean stuff...but I can put off everything else for ages.
6. I'm still an innocent; and I let my guy friends think that I'm not coz otherwise they try to set me up on dates.

Woohoo - its finally 5pm so I'm gonna finish up here and go home......then go for my 4km walk around 2 blocks *groan* the things we do to lose weight!!! Gotta come into work tomorrow to catch up my backlog of filing - but only going to stay for a couple hours coz then I'm off to the movies to see....

Colin...mmmm......gorgeous Irish accent too *wipes off the drool* yep I'm going for the serious content.....LOL

PS - I finally reached over 50 blog entries!! Yay! Drinks all round!! I'll take a nice white wine.....what will you have??

Back from my too-short trip down to Sydney to visit my best friend - had so much fun chickie!!!! We had so many things we wanted to do/see but we just ran out of time.....but I spose that happens when on holiday time & we get caught up doing stuff! that's what holidays are for!!

I ate so much food over the weekend - I made the mistake of hopping on the scales when I got home..... OMFG I so have to go back on a diet!!!! I have a plan......which involves me eating less junk, more healthy, more exercise - and hopefully I'll drop off the excess weight! Ultimately I'd love to lose 10kgs but I'll be happy with 5

So, I walk in the office door on Tuesday morning - haven't even dropped my bag or turned on my screens when I get hit with a huge issue with a client by the boss!!! jeez......ANNOYING!!!! But the boss didn't blow up which is surprising coz he usually does with problems.....took a couple days but we did successfully fix everything.

Such sad news today too: Mark Priestley (Aussie Actor from All Saints) committed suicide yesterday afternoon after suffering from depression for some time. Absolutely devasting news because he's one of my favourite home-grown actors and he played a great character on the show. He will be sadly missed. My deepest sympathies go out to his family, friends & the All Saints family.
