Well brog are made mainly to express something very personal, or even share your thoughts better in your own profile and see who comes in and posts and who's not. For GS complete members, the blog session is even better cause they can upload their own video here and get recommendations just like in reviews

That's a good reason to do a blog! But how can you express something personal if all the GS can see what you are writing.
