Being a receptionist can be really funny sometimes because you are the first voice that people hear when they call your business, you are the first face someone see's when they come into your office. I mostly deal with customers calling to find out if their windows are in or replacement siding truck has arrived. I know SOOO Exciting!!! Anyways everyone who calls, well-MOSTLY everyone, are very pleasant and friendly, they ask how I am doing, and little chit chat, then they politely ask to speak with whomever they called for, Except a specific guy who calls and he is always in a bad mood. He dosent even ask to talk to someone.. His calls are more like:

I answer: American Distributors, this is Angela how may I help you?

Mean grumpy old man: Let me talk to Tom!! (in a very grumpy and rude voice)

Tom is my boss in case anyone is wondering. But he is relentless! Every time he calls he just whines and bit**es about stuff that I have nothing to do with. He even yells at me because someone else hasn't called him back!

Anyways so my co-worker and I have come up with a little joke about him. We call him the dark emperor...you know from Star Wars! So whenever he comes in, we will hum the song. We even have Star Wars postage/stamps. I don't know if you have seen what I am talking about but one of the stamps is the 'dark emperor'.. And I swear the emperor stamp is a spitting image of the grumpy/rude man who calls.
