Well yeseterday I went to see Spiderman 3 with the high expectations that a movie of that caliber demands.

Spiderman 3

I waited in line for an entire hour and expected this movie to be great and action packed with some comedy thrown in for a complete blockbuster movie. What I got was an overrate movie that was drawn out way to long. The movie was almost to the point of a romantic drama but had too much scattered action for it to be in that genre. The visual effects and the few actions scenes were great but it was definetly too long for the plot that was provided. I really do not think that is how the 3rd movie should have been made after the successes of the first two Spiderman movies.

I will say that the last 30 minutes of the film were some of the best and worst moments of the entire trilogy. The plot twists were definetly great and much needed and the fight scenes were very good but the ending was just so bad and not needed. First off, they should have ended the movie at the sunset scene because the singing scene was just a bad way to end that movie. Second off, the characters that shouldnt have died, did actually die, and the one character that should have died, didnt. I just dont understand how a good action movie can be made so poorly and untasteful. Even the girl I was with who doesnt like movies said that she didnt like the movie after it was done (my way of making sure a real person shares the same feelings because I have seen too many movies for me to be fair to a movie and not critize it). Finally the storyline was actually good at times but at other times, it just was not up to standard and unfortanetly I did not like how it turned out.

Some people actually walked out numerous times of this movie on an opening night after waiting in line for 1 hour and to be honest I was tempted to also because the middle of the movie was the driest thing I have ever seen in an action movie. Probably the only reason I did not was the fact that I had a friend with me and I did not want to be rude and walk from the middle of the row and theatre and disturb everyone else.

Overall I would rate this move a 2 out of 5.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like archon146.
archon146 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could archon146 possibly have for not rating a single film?
