I was first introduced to Ian on "Lost", in which he plays a somewhat odd guy named Boone with a hot hot sister named Shannon. It took a few episodes for me to really notice him or care who he was but after a while he became one of the most intriguing characters. Perhaps it was because he was so underused and under-explored, but I really wanted the show to go further with him. I later saw Ian in an episode of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit", which also became one of my top favorite episodes of that show. Ian plays a sadistic, twisted guy who carries out seriously disturbing sexual crimes. It's quite a memorable role.

As I was catching up with "Smallville" I was surprised to see Ian pop up in season three. While decent, I didn't care much for him, but I guess that's because of the character - he did the best with what he had.

Overall Ian is a good actor. I'd personally love to see him play a few more psychotic characters. His main problem, though, is that he's "pretty" and probably doesn't get taken very seriously in Hollywood. I hope he gets a breakout role soon.

I love Bret Harrison. He is awesome. He is hilarious. He rocks and I hope he finds fame with his new show. "The Loop" was the first time I actually saw Bret Harrison. That was a show that I loved and thought was hilarious, and I thought Harrison did an excellent job. I then saw a few episodes of "Grounded for Life" which featured him and I liked him even more as an actor - he was hilarious in that too. Bret shows equal talent in his new fall hour-long comedy "Reaper", in which he plays a 21-year-old slacker whose parents sold his soul to the devil. The role is perfect for him and Harrison shines in it, and I think people are bound to love him.

This guy is going places.

I consider myself a fan of Cara's, but I haven't really seen her in much. Only two different things, actually: Disney's awesome series "So Weird" and her episode of "ER". She's done a few guest spots here and there but I always miss them.

I consider myself a fan of Cara's, but I haven't really seen her in much. Only two different things, actually: Disney's awesome series "So Weird" and her episode of "ER". She's done a few guest spots here and there but I always miss them.

What I like about Cara is that she's willing to put everything into her characters emotionally. She really makes an effort and makes you invest in her and care. In "So Weird" she was never afraid to expose herself and break down and downright ball when necessary. It's something most young actors can't seem to do and for that reason I'm shocked Cara hasn't gotten more work.

Perhaps she's not looking for much. But if she is, I hope she's cast in her very own show.

Like his current "Supernatural" co-star Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki has a huge fanbase of teen and preteen girls who worship him and claim him to be inhumanly sexy and the world's best actor. That is certainly not the case. While not a terrible actor by any means, Jared is certainly not a top-notch actor. He's quite average and sometimes is even cringeworthy, although I overall like him.

This review so far probably sounds quite scathing to the everyday Jared worshiper. I don't mean to sound so mean - if I truly hated him I couldn't stand to watch "Supernatural" but I'm a big fan of that show. I will not lie, however: I think a much better casting decision could have been made.

Jared tends to way overact. He has weird facial ticks and the way he acts when he's being "emotional" can be grating at times. (The puppy dog eyes, the highly annoying gravelly voice...) Jared cannot act drunk, either, as he proves in season two of "Supernatural".

His best acting that I've seen was also in season two of Supernatural, in which he plays an evil version of his character. His acting was *excellent* in that episode and I almost wished that his character would be evil for the duration of the season just so I could enjoy him more.

However, I will admit that overall his acting ability has improved over the course of two seasons of "Supernatural" and several movies and I hope it continues to improve. However, I don't see him ever winning any awards.

I first came to know Jensen Ackles as an actor because of "Dark Angel" - a show with which I was obsessed back when it was on. Of course, I never knew the guy's name nor did I care to know, even though I thought his character rocked. It wasn't until "Supernatural" did I learn who he was or grow to really like him.

Jensen is a good actor, when it comes to playing a character who's charming and/or witty and/or cocky. I have to admit I haven't seen him play a wide variety of roles - his characters in "Dark Angel", "Smallville", and "Supernatural" all have a lot in common. In "Supernatural" Jensen's acting sometimes tends to waver and he can even cross the line into "annoying" territory. He can do emotional okay but not great. A lot of fangirls are willing to overlook any flaw, however, because most of them consider Jensen to be the sexiest being to ever walk the planet. Whatever. All I know is, the guy's a decent actor and he's fun to watch. I hope that "Supernatural" is on the air for a long time and that he manages to snag a few movies here and there during the summer hiatuses. (Hiati?)

Rachel Nichols is a truly fantastic actress, but, sometimes I have to admit, she's such a small name that I often forget her and how talented she is.

I was first introduced to Rachel Nichols in FOX's short-lived but oh-so-wonderful-and-twisted "The Inside", a show in which she plays a hollow profiler with a shocking past. Much like another actress, Elisabeth Harnois, who also had her own FOX show, I, along with many other viewers and critics, mistook her as being a bad actress due to her performance in the pilot.

How wrong an assumption.

While a lot of critics never did stick with "The Inside", those who did discovered how excellent an actress Rachel truly is. She played her character in a hollow way because her character WAS hollow at first - as a result of her childhood in which she was abducted and held prisoner for months.

Over the course of that show Rachel stunned me with her acting ability and I fell in love. (Well, not literally.)

In the 2005-2006 season I was given a treat when Rachel joined the cast of a favorite series of mine - "Alias". Rachel's character was introduced as a possible replacement for Jennifer Garner should Garner choose to leave. Let me go off on a quick tanget: While I love Rachel Nichols, it has a horrible idea for the writers to even consider replacing Sydney as the whole show was ABOUT her. Nonetheless had it come down to it, I probably would have continued watching just because I liked Rachel's new character. The fifth season of "Alias" turned out to be its last so the replacement thing turned out to be a non-issue. It was sad to see the show go but as least Rachel helped make it a good season.

I've also seen Rachel in a few movies - the 2005 remake of "The Amityville Horror", in which she plays a mean babysitter (she was awesome) and "The Woods", in which she plays an even meaner schoolgirl. Once again, she rocked.

Rachel was last cast in a pilot for FOX entitled "Them", a sci-fi action thriller. There is a chance for a late, midseason pickup and I certainly hope it gets the pickup, because Rachel is a true treat.

Good luck, Rachel, I hope your career blossoms into something bigger.

I love Elisabeth Harnois. I have to admit, I didn't know her name or really who she was until late 2004 when I started hearing things about FOX's new supernatural drama, "Point Pleasant". When first turning into that show, I admit, I thought she was a mediocre actress. After watching the show more and more, I came to realize how good Elisabeth truly was. She wasn't a bad actress - she was playing the character how the character was meant to be played. Later on in the series she gave the character more dimension and emotion as was needed, but the way she always cleverly underplayed it was impressive to me - and after thinking about it I realized it was a more true-to-life and believable portrayal of a shy, confused girl than you're used to seeing on television.

I did later realize I had seen Harnois before - when I was younger in Disney's "Alice in Wonderland" and later in "My Date With the President's Daughter". She was good in that movie and played it very differently than in "Point Pleasant".

Elisabeth Harnois is a stunning beauty and looks graceful and tempting and innocent. Her acting ability so far seems great and she is able to portray vastly different characters which should definitely come in handy. I hope she gets another series. I would love to see her more.

Kristen Bell, my friends, is one of the very best actresses in television today. Not only is she one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen, but her acting is incredibly strong and believable. She can make me care about any character and I think she could become any character. She's everything an actress should be, and her current role on the drama "Veronica Mars" showcases that. She can be funny. She can be sad. She can be intense. She can be strong. She can be fragile. She can be scared. She can be happy. I'm not sure there's any emotion that Kristen could not act out with utter commitment and believability. I can only hope that if Veronica Mars gets cancelled that she will immediately find more work. TV is a dull place without her.

Eliza Dushku is amazing. She's one of my favorite actresses ever and is severely underrated. Why isn't she doing more TV and movies? Well, let me correct myself, because as of the writing of this review she is set to have around FIVE movies...

Eliza Dushku is amazing. She's one of my favorite actresses ever and is severely underrated. Why isn't she doing more TV and movies? Well, let me correct myself, because as of the writing of this review she is set to have around FIVE movies released this year, which is amazing. But none of them are "big" movies, which she deserves.

I'd love to see Eliza get a new TV series, as a lead. Preferrably something in the horror/supernatural genere, but I'd watch her in anything. I'd also like to see her have a role on The CW's "Supernatural".

Eliza is an amazingly hot, beautiful, and talented actress who deserves more credit. I will gladly watch any movie or TV show she's in.

Also, I respect her a lot because of her decision not to ever do a nude scene. Makes her even sexier in my book.
