Soon it's the arrival of LBP featuring Sackboy. There are a lot of beta keys out there but unfortunately I haven't got hold of any, yet. I still hope that a key will find it's way to me. LBP looks awesome and I'm actually considering buying three more controllers so the whole family can play together.
The reactions from those playing the beta seem to be positive so I'm really looking forward to the release. This is the first game I'm really really excited over in quite some time.
This autumn is really intersting from a gaming point of view. After the great summer of good games the pace hasn't slowed, they just keep coming. I especially look forward to Force Unleashed which is only days away. The demo was just so much fun. Yakuza 2 is finally coming to Europe and I look forward to that game as well.
Bioshock is coming to PS3, I was really excited when it was supposed to be released for the ps3 last year and where disappointed when it didn't. Now I´m excited about it again. That game is a must buy for me. Also, SOCOM looks great and the use of the sixaxis looks interesting. I´m looking forward to try it out. Dead Space is another interesting title.
The next must buy game is definitely LittleBigPlanet. That game look awesome and might be the game of 2008. Far Cry 2, Guitar Hero World Tour, Red Alert 3, Tom Clancy's End War, Resistance 2, Call of Duty World at War are also looking to be great titles and we have yet to come to decembers release plan. Wow, how am I supposed to have time to play all of these games.
Well, I won't but I do want to buy them all at some point. On the downloadable horizon I'm mostly looking forward to Metallicas album for GH3. This will be a great autumn.
It has already been a year since the birth of my son. It's his first birthday today (19th). A lot has happened during these past months.He is just about to start walking and is moving faster and faster for every day so you have to watch him all of the time.
During the coming months I'll be home with the kids two days a week just spending time with them and having a good time. The autumn will past fast since I onlywork three days a week.
These past week I haven't played as much as I did before. It is actually good to take a break from playing games. I've been watching the olympics even though the swedes underachieve. Doesn't matter though since there has been a lot of extraordinary achievments sofar. Usain Bolt in the 100 meters was awesome and his looking strong for the upcoming 200 meters. Cann he get close to 19.32, that would be cool. Michel Phelps eight gold medals is also cool, even though there are about a million gold to be won in swimming. My hopes for today is that Stefan Holm will defend his gold medal in high jump from the last olympic games
