I consider vidoegames to be no less in class than movies (I don't even bother comparing them to books, since books aren't really a class in visual arts), although few games manage to be better than good movies. Even though my favorite videogame genre is the cinematic third-person action-adventure such as Splinter Cell or Fahrenheit, my all-time favorite game is easily The Longest Journey.
