I dont burn at all and buy origanal copys, which means my buddy would tend to lend them. Turns out he copyed all my DVD box sets, if he wants to do that fine.

So he lends Stargate season 7 box set off me and ends up scratching the last disk.So its a write off. So i tell him this and he says " Oh, yeah it turned out bad when i burnt it so i went and just bought my own copy". I say "so you going to buy me a new one then?" he says " why would i buy two copyies".......

This is where i told him i would knock $79.95 of teeth out of his mouth if he ever came near me again.

I think you meant to say that he 'borrowed' season 7 off you...you 'lent' it to him...

Anyways, yeah, i totally agree with you, both in reference to the piracy and the mistreatment of your property.

That is terrible that a friend would do this to you! It is a shame that he did this to you.He should be responsible enough to replace what he damaged. Piracy is bad, it is because of people like him that we have to pay high prices!!

Something similar happened to me. I loaned my Legend of Dragoon game to a friend. He never returned it! He took it out of town and didn't give it bacj. I asked to have it replaced, and was told no! I have NEVER loaned out my games since! I hope that your friend will do the honorable thing and pay you! Until then, Game On!

Your friend is an jerk! If they don't buy you a new copy you're better off without them...
