In what will probably be the most successful release in media history just around the corner, one cannot be more excited for Halo 3's multitude of multiplayer greatness. I know I can't wait to sign onto XBL and frag some friends and some strangers, but when I think about the best times I've had online, I don't think about the times I've spent killing people via grenade. I don't think about chainsawing someone to death on Gears of War or the big hits on opponents while playing Madden, either. No, the best times spent on XBL for me have been real chill. They've been sitting around talking to strangers about upcoming releases, favorite games of all time, jobs, cars, computers, and life in general... all while playing Uno. Yes, Uno is the source of my enjoyment. I don't think it gets much better than chatting while listening to some tunes and dropping a draw-four wild card on a total stranger. Maybe it's just me, but I really prefer that to the hectic, trash talking enviornments of Halo 2, Gears, Madden, or soon, Halo 3. Don't get me wrong, I'm getting my copy of H3 on Monday night at 12 AM, but I'll still sign on for some reverses and skips every once and awhile. That's for sure.
