Well I always thought I never own a 360 this gen but that changed today. It was actually a combination of Assassins Creed and Mass Effect along with the new 65nm falcons, I picked up falcon along with Oblivion and Bullet Witch. So far this November is turning out to be a great month for gaming. I eagerly await picking up Mario Galaxy next week (I've got it all paid off
). As for PS3 I know for sure I'll get one when FF XIII comes out which should be late '08/early '09.

Oblivion, Mass Effect AND Assassins... man, that would warm me up to forking over tons of cash too
Hope you enjoy the holidays now that you've splurged on all the goodies you'll need for the next few months.

Galaxy is wonderful. For me I got the same feeling I got back when I played Mario 64 for the first time. It's my game of the years. I finished it already and I'm coming back every now and then to finish getting all the stars.

I never thought I would own one either but their holiday lineup and large gaming catalog really made an impression on me. O yea the HDMI and Falcon revision helped a little with my decision as well

Im a N fanboy but Im also a hardware freak and I decided to buy a broken 360. With some research I found out what makes it break and was able to fix it.
Here's the part that involves you. The falcon has a 65 nm Central Processor but the real problem with the majority of the 360's is its over heating GPu. This coupled with cheap soldering and a bad heatsink and not to mention the crap x clamp with warp the mainboard.
Lucky for you the falcon has an improved heatsink but from what I heard the problem still exists and Will happen over time. So heres what you do..JUst google "X clamp fix" and just a guide, I prefer MKI. This can also be done without voiding your warranty.
If your interested PM but if your not worried then thats fine..
Anyways gokouun o inorimasu! ja ne
