Amber is one good Joan, that\\\'s for sure. She\\\'s very very talented, in short.
She\\\'s also pretty, with somewhat reddish brown hair she wears straight or wavy. She does not look good in very red lipstick, in my opinion. This has nothing to do with anything, BTW.
Once again, just so you get it, she is a great actress, and we hope CBS will come to its senses and put Joan of Arcadia back on air.
Her most recent movie was The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants where she played Tibby Rollins, a rebel.

Sarah Michelle Gellar's most poignant role is in many peoples' opinion (including my own) Buffy Summers, the vampire slayer, the one girl in all the world to fight all evil. This sounds extremely stupid but on TV is exciting and well-written with some great acting, much thanks to Sarah, the dude who played Xander, Giles, and really everybody. While Buffy was the main character everybody else was an essential, so a plus for the show in itself. And now Sarah.
Well, she's smart and knows what she wants (the producers of the show had to work around her schedule.) She had a 4.0 GPA (it took my breath away too) and as many guys will probably agree on, she's "hot".
She also recently starred in Scooby Doo and its sequel. Poor choice there. That's why she didn't get a 9. I would have though the Buffy star would think better than to play a role there.
She's a great actress though. Buffy was the peak of her talent so far.

Nancy Travis was a poor replacement for Terry Farrell who played Regina "Reggie" Kostos for four seasons until they fired her. Travis was only supposed to guest star in 4 episodes, but evidently, they changed their minds (not a good decision at ALL). Call it bias or what you will, but I've found I couldn't enjoy the remaining 2 seasons of Becker quite as much (that is, before CBS canceled it, adding to the list of the world's woes) with her in it. I wouldn't mind so much if they hadn't fired Farrell, but they did and they never even had her guest star to spice things up.
I haven't seen her in anything else but I think I've seen enough. Ugh.

Girlfriends was unbeknownst to me until this summer (you really do learn about a lot of shows in the summer and you get to catch up on them). Maya Wilkes is played by Golden Brooks. Golden Brooks just for future reference hates the show being typecast as the African American version of w/e show. It's segregation, after all.
She has a degree, so to get it clear she's not some bimbo. Now we can move on. Her character as Maya Wilkes is married to Darnell, and the assistant in a law firm (I think) to Joan Clayton, who she lives with along with Lynn and Toni. The show follows the lives of four women (and their men, of course.)
Great show, great actress. Seriously, that's all I have to say about her.

Ted Danson, formerly Edward Bridge Danson is credited for the role of Sam Malone on Cheers, which had an unusually long run for a comedy television show. When he was 49 or so he signed on the role of Becker where he would play Dr. John Becker, the arrogant, egotistical and highly-opinionated (times 100) man. Somebody with such a character you wouldn't expect him to have friends. Both on Cheers and Becker Danson did a GREAT job of the characters.
Since I'm 12, I learned about Becker first, since Becker is more recent. He was always so angry or at least irritated on that show so when I learned that he was on Cheers and started watching those reruns, I was kind of like, "Why isn't he mad?" He's that good playing his characters that when you switch to another show starring him as another different character with a completely different persona you keep typecasting them as the actor of the show you're more familiar with. That's how it is with Ted Danson. Whenever I hear his name all I'm getting is Becker, not Sam Malone. For other people though it'll be the other way around.
He's a great actor to say the least. I hope the Becker seasons go out on DVD like Cheers did.

ammunitionized must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could ammunitionized possibly have for not rating a single film?
