I have been a bit absent from my usual stomping ground lately: The Dollhouse LPW forums....Just been busy, and work has been tiring me out big time. This weekend went by in a blur, (thankfully, for my part lol), but it was also quite busy.

We changed our closing procedures to where instead of counting down the registers, turning the cash in, and then straightening the store.....we're straightening the store first, and then when it's to the managers' satisfactionary standards, (and they make an announcement over the PA that it's time to go home), that's when we can go back to our areas and count down our registers.

Friday: Scheduled til midnight, but didn't leave til around 1:00 am. The store was a mess, and on top of that, there were several people who called in sick that were supposed to help close, so that put burden on the rest of us.

Saturday: I was a zombie, I was so tired, I only had about three and a half hours of sleep, and I was exhausted the entire day. My supervisor told me to go home half an hour early, (which was FINE with me). We were busy, but we were also adequately staffed, so no problem.

Sunday: Busiest day we've had since the store opened. We closed at 11pm, and got out by midnight, it was great that we only took another hour to close. Short closings are blessed events, y'all.

Monday night we closed at regular hour: 10:00pm, and I clocked out at 10:26pm, it was heaven-sent. I also had 2 other ppl in my area helping me close down the registers, so that went real quick too.
