yes, that's the cuestion, WHO THE HECK IS NIFFLAS¿
a company¿
a person, maybe¿
who knows, and why does he/she/it makes these crappy games such as Flyntt or Deep in a Forest, why is Gamespot paying so much attention to "he/she... you know, 3rd person"?
everything's so weird ultimately, well i'm not acusing anyone, with today awful and contentless games i think gamespot is running out of new games to speak about, so these ones get posted.

To answer your question, I'm a he
Unfortunately, I can not answer the question about how Knytt and WaDF got so much attention at gamespot, and in the computer game magazines it was featured in, as it wasn't me who posted them (I just uploaded the game to my website, and suggested it at jayisgames.com). One thing is certain though, everything is subjective, particulary Knytt; at the user reviews page I obviously both had a 9.8 (for "masterpiece") and a 5.8 (for "boring"), and at some places I even received some nasty sarcasm reviews.
It's nice that there's a debate about what kind of games that a large website should write about. Some prefer large scale productions by known companies, while there's people like me who just can't get enough of small indie productions such as Samorost and Lyle in Cube Sector (I can't believe they're not featured on gamespot).
I am happy about all the response i get though, and that there are a lot of people who do like the idea and atmosphere in Knytt despite that it is a simple, easy 2d platform game with practically no challenge or gameplay.
Off topic, but anyway - I really liked the comments you wrote on Mar 9, 2007 a lot. I really get upset about that too
