Last night was probably one of the coolest night of my life, but it kinda sucked because the fact it was the last time anyone would ever be able to do that.
I went to the very last ever concert for "The Police." I nearly went deaf, and I was screaming and singing so much I lost my voice today. I know The Police is an old band, like WAY before my generation, but I still love their music. I think more people need to appreciate older bands because they set the standard and really helped shape modern music. Also, their songs are frequently re-preformed by newer bands.
It was a total surprise when we arrived at Madison Square Garden. I mean, we went to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe, and then we said we were going to go get my dad's leg checked out, but instead we bought tickets for a show to one of the best bands in rock history!
My favorite part was, without a doubt, when the lead singer and bassist, Sting shaved off his beard. It was a total shock and...bizarre. They just showed on the big screen him getting shaved by two beautiful women below the stage, and then he came right back on stage to play about six more songs, with the shaving cream still on his face! It was a major "...what the?" moment. Real quality entertainment.
I'm so glad I got to witness that. That right there was music history being made, and I got to hear and see it. One of the best concerts of my life.
Wow...REALLY random first post.
My Dad and brother are working on extending our shed, and my dad just, get this, fell from the ladder and ripped his Achillies Tendon. The ambulence just left, and now I'm bored. ZZOh well, at least it was about half an hour of excitment.
