Fresh 24 year old, Las Vegas native. I've been playing videogames since I was about late 1-early 2, and consider gaming a very huge aspect of my life. I believe that my 1st gaming experience had been with a table-top Atari machine which my parents owned, but there was so much Nintendo craze going on in the 1980s, that it could have very well been a Nintendo arcade machine or Nintendo console...either way, my first official ownership of the big N, and videogames in general, occurred on my 3rd birthday, when I got my very own NES. Those were the days of eating Super Mario Bros./Zelda cereal and watching Nintendo cartoons in Kindergarten (whatchu know about Captain N sucka!). I owe a great deal of my gaming life to Nintendo since they paved the way for me since I was a child and basically spoon fed me with all their Mario memorobilia, but by no means am I a fanboy...although I would have to say that my favorite console ever made was/is the SNES...and I've officially worked for Nintendo for about a week at a GAMA trade-show where Nintendo was promoting their latest Pokemon trading cards a few years ago. I had to take pictures of a guy dressed up as Pikachu and kind of guide him as he walked around because he had no peripheral vision...it was lame and awesome at the same time, lmao, but whatever, I got some valuables out of the deal and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat if the opportunity presented itself again. I'm a lucky guy I guess, except when it comes to playing video poker. My career includes an employee-owned Glazing Contractor firm, named Giroux Glass, which we are known internationally for constructing the Grand Canyon Skywalk...but for the most part...we build Las Vegas & LA. There's too many projects that we're responsible for to list here, so I'm just going to say that we're involved with every major casino and hotel on the Vegas Strip, past, present, and future. Although, I'm just a paper-pushing Project Manager and not in the field like the Glaziers, I don't hit the 6-figure a year income...not yet anyway, I'll give it a few more years. But it's cool, I sit at my desk and GameSpot or play games half the time and get payed great money for it, so no complaints here. I'm also designing graphics for Wreckless Clothing, which will be dropping in Spring-Summer '08, but I won't say anything absolutely positive about the company because I don't want to jinx anything...we have high hopes for it though. I would like to be involved with designing games or music for games, but my only concern seems to be playing them at the moment, and sometimes, that can be as motivation-killing as smoking pot, but what would I know about that? I also dj and produce DnB in my spare time and would like to pursue it as a career if there weren't so many damn videogames in my life taking away all my free time. Regardless, I hope I will never live to see the day where I voluntarily quit gaming, since it's what I live for. I virtually run on batteries.
