Hello, my name is Alex, I'm an architecture student in London and I play video games. I think the first game I played was duck hunt on the NES back in 1992 when I visited a cousin in Miami, I remember it vividly as I had to use the zapper to shoot down the ducks - it was an amazing experience. From then on I was always interested in games and played on my friends SNES and Mega Drive every time I got to visit. The first console I ever owned was the original GameBoy, although I probably played more of Jazz Jackrabbit and Doom II on my computer. Since then I've owned a PSX, Gameboy Pocket, PS2, Gameboy Advance, Gamecube (never really played it) and when my PS2 broke I defected and picked up an Xbox. Currently I'm playing on a 360. I've been here at Gamespot for a few years but recently stepped it up a gear in terms of how much I use it - thanks to all the lovely people out there (and the idiots that make it interesting).
