Why do great shows have to come to an end? One of my favorite shows, Kyle XY was cancelled. So know more Kyle XY. I can't believe it. And the way that it ended. With a cliffhanger! I swear whenever I watch a show it always ends up getting cancelled. Other shows that are coming to an end within the next year or so are Prison Break and Supernatural. Supernatural is ending after season 5. I don't want it to end, but the creator has said from the beginning that they are only doing 5 seasons. Which means 1 more season and its over. After those shows end, there will be nothing on tv for me to watch. I'm not into the teen drama shows like Gossip Girl or 90210. Give sci fi, supernatural shows instead. The only other shows I watch are Psych, Monk, and Burn Notice. But they have those weird seasons, where you have to wait half a year for new episodes. And when they do air, they only show a couple of episodes and then go on a long hiatus. Which I hate.

OMG! I missed the Kyle XY finale! It had a cliffhanger!? That sucks for a series finale. I hope the writer if Supernatural gets like a whole bunch of money and wont have a choice to pick up more seasons.

You need to check out Dollhouse! It's pretty awesome. So far, there's been so many twists that it keeps me and my dad coming back for more.

I'm gonna be so upset when Supernatural ends. I'm also gonna be upset when Prison Break ends. I can't wait for the new episodes to start but that also means that the end is getting closer. I don't like Gossip Girl or 90210. I like Burn Notice and The Beast. I kind of like One Tree Hill, but I'm so behind on that show that I'm not gonna watch any episodes till I can get the 5th season on DVD. I hate when my favorite shows get cancelled. It's just so upsetting!

Two shows that ended prematurely for me after only a handful of episodes were Journeyman and Swingtown.

Like Aly04 said Dollhouse is pretty good. I also like Dexter, The Fringe and True Blood. I hope they don't get canceled.

it sucks when good shows have to end!! I'm going to be so sad when Supernatural ends, it's such a great show. There are a lot of other sci fi shows on TV. Try Fringe, Dollhouse and Terminator for example. There aren't exactly a lot of teen shows like Gossip Girl, that's just CW's thing.

I really liked Journeyman. That was a good show that got cancelled way too soon. I love True Blood. I can't wait till the season 1 comes out on dvd and season 2 starts.

I like Supernatural as well and would hate to see it end. I just got into it last year. There are times when I think that the networks don't give a show a chance. On the other hand, they also don't when to let a show go. Journeyman could have stayed on a little longer. But personally, Heroes got boring and the producers don't know what to do with the plot or the characters. There's not a lot of sci fi shows on the networks. I think it's more difficult to pull off a successful sci fi show as opposed to a comedy.

You know, I do agree that it sucks that good shows end, but I've got to tell you, I'd rather have the cliffhanger in my brain of a good show living on in good memory, than to have the show jump the shark - that's the worst!

I also watch Psych and Burn Notice. But, I'll back up Aly04 who mentioned "Dollhouse" (although I doubt whether that will stay on the air long.) But, there will be a tremendous void when Supernatural ends.

I think it's good that they come to an end. Nothing can continue forever. If you try to milk a series for to long it usually ends up lame and boring. If they have set final episode then they usually make the best they can in between. I think Ugly Betty got to high on having many viewers and now the quality is declining.

To me, it felt like Pushing Daisies ended on the biggest cliffhanger ever. It does suck that Supernatural is ending, but I guess we'll just have to enjoy it while it lasts. Like some other people already said, give Dollhouse a try. I haven't had a chance to watch today's episode yet, but it's already shaping up to be an excellent season!

It sucks that Kyle XY got cancelled. It was the best show on ABC Family. I would hope Sci-Fi would pick it up. It also sucked that CBS cancelled Moonlight last year. That was another show that if they would given it a chance who knows what would of happened. Also Supernatural creator did say he had a five year plan but if The CW still wants it they would do a Season 6. Plus lets face it Prison Break has not been good since season 2 ended.Plus the show originally was only suppossed to last one season anyway. because the ratings were really good they decided to keep it going.

Even "Life on Mars" got cancelled and that's a shame.
