Ok, I want to ask a question about Windows Media Player and Quicktime. My computer uses WMP as it's default player. But somtimes it switches to Quicktime ( this usally happens when I look at a file that only uses Quicktime). I want it to stay on Windows Media Player, but I don't know how to put it back to it. Can anyone help?

Go into your Windows Media Player, and look at the preferences, and the file types, see if any of those are associated to Quicktime...

You can also right-click on a file name in the file explorer, choose "Open with..." and from there select a program. That may set that program as the default for that file type.

The stuff above pretty much covers it, but also when you open a file with Windows Media Player and it asks if you would like to set it as your default player hit yes and when Quicktime asks you the same question hit no.
