Ive been playing Okami and Mortal kombat armageddon like crazy this days, with the occacional game of Fifa 07 with my brother. Unfortunately at the point that one of my controler had already busted out. I plug it in the ps2 but it just doesnt recognice it.
So, ill talk a little about okami: Its such a great game, i could defenitly call it the "zelda" of ps2. And well, the common things between this two arent really that far. Both games are kinda a like in the feel of the gameplay, in the massive world they involve, the inmense epic boss fights and also... for the lots and lots of items that you have to search and collect. The history is not as hook at stare like with zelda, but it defenitly keeps thing running as you go trought the inmense breathtaking world you are. Graphicly speaking, its some of the best the ps2 had to offer, and i dont think it has any problems against someother games in this kind of type (cellshading) like the windwaker. The musical score is something great too and it really gives the exact vibe to the game, altough i would like more enemy music too.
Then we got Mortal kombat that well... it didnt cover all my spectatives. Only with 8 fighters in the arcade mode, it makes a whole waste of the impressive cast of characters it have. The konquest mode, if you play shaolin monks, will be nothing to be amaze, actually its kinda boring but it makes good for a play and obtain money. I havent try out the online play (i dont have a modem for my ps2
Hmm... with this much talk i think i make a review soon. heheh, Some time killer in the mean time i buy bully, M:UA, xenosaga and of course.... Final fantasy XII
