Men its good 2 be back!
After being away a few weeks resting after my succesful (yet disapointing) cyborg operation, i came to ye, to tel you one simple complain...
wHat the crap they do in this vmas men!?
I mean, it used to be a fail proof show, ive been watchin every single one since 98, and yes theres been some ups and downs with every year, but in the end they turn out allright (my personal favs are 1998,1999 and 2000) but mtv, has succesfully screw this years vmas as the worst ever.
Lets start with the performance list.
Christina aguilera: regular
justin "i wish i keep britney" timberlake: rhithimless
beyonce: too rehearsal
All american rejects: i actually have heard bout this guys before and i just heard their new album, but the song they choose its not even the best in this one.
The raconteurs: love it love it love it.
the killers: why they shot down the show with this dudes? the song suck big time, as for the band well, i belive they are more of a one hit wonder thatn anythin else
Panic at the disco: yeack... worst band i have ever heard in a while, cant belive mtv gave them video of the year. RHCP video its way better than that crap.
My chemical romance: i actually was psycked out, im looking foward to their next album
Next we got the winners, altough some really deserve it, there are some that well, just didnt make justice. Like ringtome of the year? wtf was that about, im not saying nothing against fort minor (on the contrary that band is one of the best in hip hop i hear in a while), on the other side, they should have been awarded for best rap, i mean, black ey7ed peas its good to hear for a while but when you wat something that has some deep, fort minor its da thing men.
I feel shakira was a little riped off in some awards (and she look amazing in her performance btw and im just not favoritazing her for being latin, i dont like that much her music but i respect her talent), i do belive that she deserve more awards, maybe not best video of the year but heck if she deserve best female video. i mean... 7 nominations and only got 1 home? gimme a break
And we got to the worst, rock video of the year, second worst error of the vmas... A.F.I. song well... it just dont make justice to some other winners like pearl jam, limp bizkit, korn or white zombie. Its not even a good song or a good video, that award shoud have gone to the rhcp... period, the video was better the song was even great. Also, in the nominees, where the where bands like the flamming lips or yellowcard, i feel lots of bands miss in that category.
Yet mtv screw it up even more with their "video of the year"... no offense but how can u put even on a list "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" against videos of some other greatest artist like this ones... the list speak for itself, in my particular opinion the winner of that award should have been the RHCP, again.. (how come no one notices that RHCP was ripped in at least 2 categories?)
Sigh... well theres my rant, ill update with something different later, sry for the blogging internet!
