First of all, I'm really sorry if I don't comment on your blog or don't reply to your comment. It takes each page about 5 mins to load and I don't have enough time to wait that long. As soon as I get a normal internet connection backI will start posting again and commenting on your blogs. I miss One Tree Hill discussions.
My trip overall was OK. On the first flight I had an empty seat next to me but even though I was comfortable I felt terrible. I regreted eating breakfast and I didn't eat for the rest of the trip because I feared I would be sick again. I probably felt sick because I was tired and the travel sickness gum tasted so revolting I am sure it hindered way more than it helped. The highlight of the flight to Paris was the kid who said we were all going to die and then asked his parents how they were going to get off the plane since it was up so high. I got off the plane still feeling incredibly sick but i had to keep moving because I had to catch my next flight. Even though I had an hour and forty minutes for the transfer I only managed to arrive just as the plane started boarding. No time to window shop or recover from my last flight which I still felt sick from. I had to walk from the one end of the terminal to the other, then take a bus to the third terminal, then walk to the end of that terminal. Plus I got my passport checked about 4 times.
My second flight was much better. I had two seats next to me empty! I couldn't believe my luck. I love you Air France. Just before take off however someone decided to take one of the seasts so they could have more room.
I felt much better, only slightly sick and had plenty of room. I watched Shrek 3, PotC:At World's End and a bit of Spiderman 3. I played a few games because I got bored halfway through Spiderman and listened to my ipod. The only downside was the person who sat on one of the empty seats, who was an elderly gentleman kept ordering alcoholic drink and had me get up quite a number of times so he could get more drinks or get something that he left at his seat. UGH! Everytime I got comfortable I had to move. Oh well.
I was so happy when we landed. My Aunt and Uncle were there to pick me up, I exchanged my money and left with them. I miss my euros a little. They were all in different colors whereas here they are all the same color, I'll get used to it.
Since I have been in New York I went shopping, I went to the lighthouse on Fire Island and today I went to the city to see the festival of San Gennaro. I have taken the subway before but that was 9 years ago and I barely remember it. I found it hard to stop myself from laughing when a preacher was talking very loudly about how we are one day closer to our deaths and then there was someone selling batteries.
I watched Prison Break on Monday and I think it's going to be a good season. I thought the episode was good but since there are a lot of new charactersit's harder for me to judge, but it's off to a good start.
Tonight is the premiere ofGossip Girls. I really hope it's all it's hyped up to be because I need a new show to replace quite a few of my shows that were canceled last year.
Happy TV viewing.
