It finally came. My Taylor Big Baby. Though it is slightly smaller, and not the most expensive guitar Taylor makes, it is still awesome. I love this guitar. I may not be the re-incarnation of Jimi Hendrix, I still have fun playing. I have been playing bass for about year and decided I wanted a to get an accoustic to play with. I made a trip to the local Guitar Center to check out some the of their guitars. I found the Taylor after a few minutes, I was drawn to it, and immediatley knew it was the one. After about 10 minutes of playing with it and asking my friend what he thought of it, I reluctently put it back and tried out some of the other guitars in my price range (under $400).

Nothing really stood out. I then gravitated to the high end guitars. Daggum, I wish I had the kind of money where I could drop two grand on an accoustic guitar! Some of the Martins they had there were simply amazing. I also loved this Gibson they had (the one with the Doves on it). That was a fine musical instrument. But that is neither here nor their. I have a Taylor Big Baby and I love playing. Next step, guitar lessons. Seeing as how I never took bass lessons, I do believe that investing in some lessons would be a good idea. You can only get so far with Tabs. I am taking a folk guitar class when school starts. We'll see how I do there. I am a bit worried I'll make an a$$ of myself, because I am sure I'll be the least experienced musician in the class. But oh well, just have to go with the flow I suppose.

Today is a fine day, even though it is June 26 (i think) and it is raining outside. The reason it is so fine is I finally have a PC that should be able to support games like HL 2 and Far Cry. Sure, it isnt a $2500 gaming beast of a PC, but hopefully it'll get the job done. All I need to do now is shell out $300 for a 256mb vid card. Lets hope I'm not wasting my cash. Here's my PC specs. How does it look?

Dell Dimension 4700-Pentium 4 processor 3.2 GHz

Mem-512MB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM

Hard Drive-160GB

Sound-5.1 Channel Audio (have an servicable sound set-up already)

Drive- 16x DVD-ROM and 48x CD-RW

Some people just don't have opinions. Like akil_50.
akil_50 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could akil_50 possibly have for not rating a single film?
