I'm sorry to make such a personal entry on a gaming blog but I'm quite happy today and I do want to share it with you. Today is the day my wife and I celebrate our 4th anniversary together. It's the day she moved in.
We've started dating in 1997 (we gotta date to celebrate it as well) but living together was a major change in our lives.
It's somehow game related as she's the one who insists in getting the platinum trophies in all games, challenges me almost every weekend on Mortal Kombat and Soul Calibur IV and loves to watch action and horror games being played.
We've learned a lot from each other in those years but gaming wise, her Sheng Tsung fireballs have improved a lot, her Astaroth moves got harder to block and Birdo has never been faster in Mario Kart Wii.
We're now tackling Dead Space. Bioshock and Prince of Persia are next on our list.
I'll take the chance to also celebrate my 6 years of GameSpot! Officially, that'll only happen in 2 days but since this is a celebration post, I'll celebrate it all in one go. What started with a web site to organize my collection ended up being a place gather information on games, read and write reviews and most importantly, to make friends.
I've met really nice and sweet people here in GS, friends I cherish and intend to keep, even though we live far.
So, I guess that's what I had to share. Thank you guys for reading and for doing all the friendly things good pals and gals are supposed to do.

And its fantastic that you and your wife can game together. I'm still yet to find myself a game savy companion. Most of my ex's "just can't figure out how I can play those silly things", even though they spend countless hours watching reality television shows I can't stand, LOL.
@gfile : I met a lot of couples in WoW that played together. It's quite nice since it's a time consuming hobby.
I have an opposite problem than most ppl, my b/f is nowhere near as into games as I am. But he's getting there. He used to only play RPGs but he's played some horror/action lately and liked it. A few days ago he even asked me about Fatal Frame. I was so proud!
