GAMES: GameSpot GameFAQs MOVIES: Metacritic Movietome Comic-Con

Well its been a while since I posted a blog about what i'm gonna be doing with my guides. I'm still here and I check in everyday and I look at the guides. I'm still CONSIDERING retiring from my guides and I have added a trusted user to my most popular guide and his doing a great job so thanks for that. I don't really like all the changes that are going on here with the avatars and it seems that everyday when I sign in that i'm at level 1 or my editor emblem is missing so I have to refresh and refresh then it comes up. It just seems to me that since CNET took over that there are 100x more bugs with the site and all the ads that are on here make loading times extremely long and I have cable internet. From my sees the site has seemed to become more of a comptetion for everyone to have the most emblems and the highest level and that isn't what TvTome was about. TvTome was about adding truthful information to guides for people to read and to know something about their favorite shows. TvTome didn't have all the features that we have right now and a lot of people think that TvTome was better for that and I believe that to. I do like the live chats that we have because users can get together and talk about their favorite shows without waiting on people to respone to their forum topics. Right now my i'm currently here but i'm strongly considering retiring from all my guides by the first of March so if you have a special interest in any of my guides please let me know and if I retire you will have first pick. So CNET i'm still here so don't retire me from any of my guides. Thanks everybody and let me know what you think of the current Tv.com set up with all the emblems and features.

Are you getting much traffic for your guides? I wouldn't drop them unless they're draining too much of your time. I find the new features, bugs, levels, and emblem chases pointless, but it is fun to connect actors and writers to different shows. And writing recaps. I did retire from two guides I had little to no interest in.

Well only 1 gets traffic and i've been here for almost 3 years and i've just got tired of it with all the bugs and everything. I'm 17 and entering college this fall and I just don't have the urge and or desire to put a lot of time into the site. I may still keep a person guide maybe both but if anyone has a special interest in any of my 3 guides let me know and I can work something out. Thanks.

I know this is probably a silly question, but what are 'guides'? I know, I am showing off my ignorance, I'm old enough to now admit things like that! lol

Andrew good to see you on line - haven't chatted with you in AGES. Take care

VMF-214 thats the problem i'm having. I use to could spend a few hours a day on here updating guides and everything but with me in my last few months of school and then college starting I know I won't have time. The biggest reason why i'm thinking of hanging it up also is all the bugs and all the mainstream features that the site has. Some of the features are great but some are just stupid and a waste of server space. Well good luck VMF-214 and PM me when you know your gonna quit. Thanks.
