Well, I finally got my summer goal of 10K gamerpoints this summer.

With only 5 days left, I cut it pretty close . On a more serious not however, I go back to school in 6 day . I really don't want summer to end as it was so much fun, and because this will most likely be my hardest year of schooling with the SAT andACT coming up. In gaming news, Mercs 2 comes out on august, 31.

It is the first in the line of E3 games to come out, so I hope it gets good reviews as it might give some insight into how the other games (***ahem, ahem***Fable 2) might turn out with all of the hype they are being give. Speaking of Fable 2, I pre-ordered and recieved the pub games. I did use the glitch (and earned 200K in gold), but with news that it could effect in game play, I stopped cold-turkey. I really have no desire to mess up my gaming experience.

well, to everyone who is still on summer break, have fun with it!!

And don't forget to spam!!!

Peace

Well hello there to all of my friends at gamespot. It has only been a couple of weeks since I blogged, but a lot has happened since then. Well First for those of you who are in the Achievements Union (we are the premiere achievement union here at gamespot! Feel free to join) I have some updates for my summer goals. Well first for my gaming related goal of 10K by the end of august, I am somewhat close after closing in on 8K yesterday, which isn't too bad considering I started the summer with around 5K. I still have some tricks up my sleeve like madden and avatar to get those last 2k, but I might not need them considering I just picked up a copy of oblivion , which has plenty of easy achievements.

As for my other goals I have just finished segment 2 of Drivers ed, and I am hoping to take the road test during October so I will have plenty of practice.

Now as for my conquest impressions for Battlefield: Bad company. For those of you who have never played a battlefield game, conquest is where you capture flags or bases around the map. Depending on the number of bases you have determines the number of reinforcements you get. However if the opposing team (or your team) holds at least half of the bases, your reinforcements go down. When your team runs out of reinforcements you lose. Now, this is definitely a nice change up from gold rush because you can just go around killing people and still be helping your team. But the mode is still team oriented, so if no one on your team backs you up when trying to capturing an enemy base, chances are you're screwed. Also I wound up losing my first game in a matter of minutes because this person on my team kept team killing. All in all the new mode has made the game a boat-load of fun, and anyone who has yet to pick up a copy needs to because of the the game play, and sandbox maps. That is the reason why I call it the CoD4 killer.

Well I got back from my bike trip (Pittsburg to D.C.) on Sunday. It was really fun, but after doing 325 miles I think I am gonna lay off for a little while . Out of all those miles only one bad thing happened (well I guess it would count as 2), on the 2nd to last day my tire popped. Not only did it happen once, but twice. Apparently I ran a snake over (yes I know it sounds far-fetched but it's true), and part of its fang got caught in my tire. I was too stupid to check my tire the first time so it popped my second tube within an hour of the first. Other than that though, nothing unexpected happended. Since I have gotten back though I have done alot for gaming. First and foremost I used one of my unlocks in Battlefield: Bad company to unlock the UMP which has boosted up my score considerably as well as get the vorticough achievement from the orange box to fix my gamer score (making end in a 5 or 0 again ), as well as 3 other bf:bc multiplayer achievements. I still have to beat Ninja Gaiden too, I am on the last level.

As for E3 impressions, I was very happy this year. Microsoft made many unexpected announcements about the dashboard and the avatar system, and although it is reminescent of the Wii it will be pretty cool. Also Cliff Belinski and Peter Molyneux made great announcements about two of my most anticipated games, Fable 2 and Gears 2. They now both have release dates, and gears will support a 5 person co-op mode. In addition to these two great games there is also Fallout 3 which could be the next bioshock (the only reason I say that is becuase of the similarities of enemies). Nintendo's confrence was very uneventful and kinda sucked in my opinion.

Happy summer, PEACE!

Some people just don't have opinions. Like ajarbuckle.
ajarbuckle must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could ajarbuckle possibly have for not rating a single film?
