Well, let's see. I wrote a blog a while back that no one read, this one probably won't be either so I guess these blogs are more for me to put down my thoughts than anything else. Um...guitar, can't really practice out here, now can I? Uh...martial arts. I moved up to gray from tan, not high or anything, but hey, at least I progreesed. I'm considering learning some non mcmap grappling when I get home, like jujitsu or something. Motorcycle....gonna buy a new one as soon as I get home. I kind of wanna move up to a 750 or maybe a 1000, but Imight just stick to a 600, probably will on second thought. Literature, I've actually started reading a lot out here. It's a quick fix to those hurry up and wait situations. Just throw a book in my assault pack and bam! Mobile entertainment, old school but effective. It's just too much trouble to keep my psp charged out here. Investing, been there done that. I've made a little bit of money so far. All in stocks, diversified of course, mostly in tech companies. Even did my part and invested in Microsoft and Nintendo. Video games. That's gonna have to wait til I get home. I can't wait to just sit around and be lazy and play all the games that have come out while I've been away. It'll be cool to just relax completely. It just doesn't happen. Mission. Gotta go.
It handled crysis like a champ. One of my platoon-mates bought a custom alienware for 3 grand and it's only a little better than my stock hp. He he. My laptop was the best investment I could've made before deploying. I don't know what I'd do without it.
Playing mostly pc games now, since I'm in Iraq and all I have is my laptop. Some guys have their 360s out here, and I'm kind of considering getting mine sent out. I wouldn't be able to connect to xbl though, so it doesn't really seem worth it. I'm also not sure how much I'd be able to use it, the situation is ever changing, and we're here for combat ops, not in a support role, after all. Decisions, decisions..... What is constant is that I want to keep gaming. It's an easy way to relax and distract myself from my surroundings. Eh...I'll probably just stick to pc while I'm out here, maybe get a game or two sent out if something really good comes out. I guess I'll just rely on gamespot to let me know when that happens.
