It's a nice one. I've never owned a camera, so I am glad I finally have one. I've seen many nice views on my daily bike rides, and each time I always thought "I wish I had a camera" and now I do, so I will definitely take some pictures. This camera is great for wide shots, which is exactly what I need. It's the Panasonic TZ5A.

ha, cool. I guess you feel like you have to use it right away because you payed for it. I'm just going to take a picture or two of the ocean and the mountains, of my dogs, etc. Also, I'm going camping this wednesday so that's another good time to use the camera.
In fact, I think I'll go out right now and take some pictures. I hope the mountains are visible.

You sound like you're conveniently located around some awesome landscapes. I'm not so fortunate! Busy highways and stuff of the sort. But that doesn't mean some lovely panoramic spots aren't a short drive's away, including the ocean for that matter. A good 3 hours lands me on the sandy shores. Sadly I didn't have this camera when I took my trip to the beach a few weeks ago. I'm a little confused though, I know my camera has that same kind of wide feature yours does, but I can't seem to find it in my menu/options. I need to find that soon, cause i really wanna take advantage of those kinds of pictures. Happy shooting, ag! Maybe we can make an artistic photography photo album together. Take her wherever you go.
