I still remember the first blog of Drea that I've read. She was all excited about a problem with her Internet, and how disappointed she was for not being able to get on to this site. It took a while to get to know her, but the first thing you learn about her is the way she liked to write: Slang.
Or, in Drea's words, Slangzta.

Drea was the creator or the Gangzta language on here. She wasn't just the any woman you get to know. She was a family woman, full of love for her husband (hubby), her kids, and her friends. Even Ang can be considered half-family for her, after understanding the way they met.

I made her a banner. Not once, twice. She liked the way I designed stuff. It was Tight, as she used to say.

I loved to read her comments in my blogs. She used to refer to me as Gangzta Brutha, and I replied with Gangzta Sista. Every comment of Drea, especially in her peak months, was not just a comment, it was a complete celebration. She was the director of her own comments. And I was jealous of her writings...

I once had a column where I used to "forecast" how others will comment to the blog. That's what I wrote for Drea, of course, in her own true language:

hoffman9102: HOLA lil Gangzta! I hada slizza wonderz bout wat YA were up to, Mi AMIGO! Here Ima rollin', takin da COMMENT to a betta level o WIZdom, befo anyone coulda ask! Lay Chilly, coz itz all GOOOOOOD and tight!

If that doesn't sum up her personality, I can not realize what can. She was pure joy, happiness and warm-hearted.

I haven't been talking to her much recently, but I was indeed affected by this woman. Positively. And for all that, I wanna thank ya, Gangzta-Sista, and tho ya willn't be reedin' thiz blog, I wanna make it fo-sho clear that itz all dedicated to ya, aight? Coz ya hada dat lite, like no one else. Lay Chill,

Goodbye

It's amazing the huge gap in the world one person can leave when they are such a good person and go so soon and so young. We miss you terribly Drea! Rest where you are. See you one day!!!

I'm not one to cry but hearing this, how much people cared about her, having things get so personal is just so sad, I really wish I could have such a close, tight bond with some of the people I encounter on tv.com, I love this site, personally, and it will always hold a place in my heart, just hearing about her, what a great person she once, and still is, she now holds a place in my heart, and from what I have heard about her, I miss her greatly. She is a person I admire, without even knowing her or even talking to, I admire her... You're memory lives on, peace be with you!
