This year Afenla is customizing to a Daily-Blogger. That way, I can be what I'm not every-other day of the year: Someone who has a new, interesting blog, everyday! Purim starts officialy tonight, and that's a reason to start the celebration! Sound the saxophone, open all the exits!

Call them primitive, call them immature, call them crazy. The kids in Israel are waiting for Purim for a lone thing, and only for it: The detonators. You know, those small "bombs" which are used during games of the national games of the UK soccer team? Accompanied with smoke, large "booms" or a total imitation of a rocket, those detonators can turn everyone's peaceful evening into a disaster. And in Purim's eve, it's the worst. Ever since night fell, around 18:30pm, those bombing noices never stop. Now, explain to me, please, what's so, say, amusing, in explosives? Why do they enjoy them so much? Why do they have to make us feel as if we're in the middle of war?
Now, after this rant of mine, let's go back to the real stuff.
What do I like about Purim?
...
...
Hmmmm, where do I start? The Chocolates, for example!
One of the traditions of Purim, is exchanging packs of chocolates, snacks and other yummy foods between one another. There are all those great stuff inside, most of them are made of chocolate, candies or any other sweet food. This or that, they are very tasteful and, er, chocoladish!

And of course, this Purim will be full of great Israeli music!!!!!!!11
What's the Connection - Give Him a Chance
Ma Kashur (What's the Connection, free translation), are an Israeli stand-up trio. They are currently running a great sitcom on TV, but 2 years ago they tried doing some music. They had one giant hit, Titnu Lo Chance (Give Him a Chance, free translation), a song which is funny and crazy. This clip also features another famous Israeli figures, but they mean nothing abroad. All over the song he sings about singers he's obviously... not
But he sings from the heart... From the hearrrrrrrrrrt!
But I sing, from the heart,
From the heart,
But I sing, from the heart,
From the hearrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt...
(Those of you, Eurovision viewers, may remember the last prisoner singing with the broom as the Israeli representative from two years ago)...

See y'all tomrrow on the next Purim blog of Afenla - The daily Blogger
Much Love and *hugs*,

Dee- Purim is a very cool holiday, but it's very underrated: It has no holiday-day (you know, a quiet day like any of your Sundays, when there's no buses, trains etc, considering every other one of our holidays).
Fireworks? Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
You don't like chocolate?
Joelle- And the lady says what?
Ang- Erm, eeeeep, you've forgot something there?
Angus- Could be just a coincedence, could be a Jewish dirctor
Helen- So, this Batman theme... It's your favorite song, the one you hear before going to bed? Or what?

I don't think that I would like all the little explosions going off but the chocolate sounds like a good thing.

*Hugs and kisses*
Somehow...I missed this blog. I saw your comment in my blog and thought, "Hmm...did he give up on blogging?" So, I clicked your name, and bam. Stupid me.
Forgive?
Anyway, sounds like a cool holiday to me.
I hope you had fun!

Wow I think I like Purim
especially the chocolate and candy parts
The explosions I can do without. I startle so easily. I opened a bottle of cider to celebrate my birthday and cork shot out by itself. You should have seen me jump on my seat

Hi Valerie!
Purim's main tradition is the customes: Wearing a custome to parties in school, work places and every other party. Purim is for customizing!
And yeah, I don't like explosions as well. It's the young kids who play them
