Well this is my first chance to blog since the United V Roma game, don't worry I wasn't depressed about that result. It was simply stunning to see us absolutely hammer a side who playing badly or not had reached the Quarter Finals of Europe's premier club competition. We entered the game needing at the very least a 1-0 win to go through. The pressure was off to a degree when Michael Carrick dragged the ball from under his feet to chip Doni and from then it was just a complete rout of the Roma midfield and defence. Smith added a second after some magnificant one touch football beofre Rooney aided by some fantastic movement from Ronaldo scored from close range. Ronaldo socred the fourth before halftime, amazingly his first goal in the Champion's League proper. Carrick scored another cracker from long range to continue the rout after half time before Ronaldo added his second from a beautifully weighted Giggs cross. Patrice Evra then came on and added his name to the score sheet, his effort going in off the post. Like him or not I still have to mention Daniele de Rossi's goal for Roma, a nice finish to say the least hooking the ball from behind him into the corner, pity it won't be remembered because of the circumstances. United will play another Italien team, AC Milan in the semi's and I can see them beating them. Milan are an aging outfit and well we have youth and energy in bag fulls. Chelsea will play Liverpool in the other semi-final making it very possible that this years final in Athens will be an all English affair stamping The Premiership's authoirty as the best league in the world.

As I mentioned I was in London from Thursday to Saturday. I went on Thursday to see the UEFA Cup Second leg between Sevilla and Spurs and incase you're wondering why a United supporter would go to a Spurs game it's because my dad and brother are both Spurs supporters and so when they're going to matches I usually just go with them, it's handier that way although I have been to a few United games. Well sadly Tottenham lost the tie overal 4-3. It was 2-2 on the night, Spurs basically didn't show up for the first half and were 2-0 down after 8 minutes from a Steed Malbranque own goal and Freddy Kanoute. Things improved in the second half however and I experienced one of the greatest atmospheres anyones likely to feel. The Spurs fans started chanting ''Martin Jol's blue and white army'' during half time and amazingly it didn't stop for 20-25 minutes. It was strange, usually a chant starts and goes for a minute or two and stops but this one just kept going non stop and got louder instead of quieter. Spurs pulled two back through Jermaine Defoe and Aaron Lennon and gave some hope of Spurs getting the 4 goals they required to go through and in truth they shoud have got them, Michael Dawson first missing from close range and then Dimitar Berbatov surprisingly shooting straight into the keeper's hands. I also must comment on the amount of play acting the Sevilla players did and anyone watching on TV wouldn't have seen half of the attempts to get the game stopped aswell. One of the highlights of the night was actually Paul Robinson pulling a Sevilla player off the pitch who had ''injured'' himself off the field of play but tried to come back onto the pitch so the referee would have to stop the game for him and break the flow of play for Spurs. I didn't do much else in London, I've seen everything in visits there before so I mostly walked around the city and did a bit of shopping to pass the time.

United also won their FA Cup semi-final tie against Watford 4-1 last night although I missed the game as I on my home at the time. Rooney got two and Ronaldo and Richardson also scored. We'll meet Chelsea in the final at the new Wembly. Chelsea beat Balckburn Rovers earlier today 2-1 after extra time in their semi-final.

One thing which puzzles me on Gamespot at the moment is the amount of people who want the Biological Warfare emblem. I mean I can understand why people were excited about it at first, first it was a new mysterious emblem which started appearing and nobody knew how to achieve it but now everyone does and pretty soon it'll just be a common emblem that everyone will have like ''Friendly'' or ''Public Access' or something.

Well those are my thoughts for the moment, I start my last term of school tomorrow after two weeks off for Easter and I have my French Oral for my Leaving Certifiate aswell. Au Revoir!

Well this is my first Blog in a while that hasn't been a video, I just had a backlog of Videos that I hadn't uploaded and so I just blogged them along with ones I already had on here. Hope you liked them, well they were mostly for the football fans. This is probably the last few days I'll have a bit of spare time for Gamespot before the start of my last term on Monday and the run in to my final exams. Can't believe they're coming so fast. Well I suppose they start sooner, I've got my French oral exam the day I go back and my Irish oral the week after. Seems I'll have a lot to do over the Summer. I've got a backlog of DVDs to watch, I keep buying them but I don't have the time to watch them all, just maybe one or two at the weekend if I'm lucky. Got a load of games I've resisted buying aswell to get after the exams. I know if I buy them now I'll get into them and my exams will go out the window. Have to get a Summer job sorted too which means I have to write a CV pretty soon. A  few of my freinds and I booked two weeks in Austria to unwind after the exams aswell so I got to get some money together or I'll be broke for Summer.

Microsoft announced the Spring updates for the 360 which of course set off more debating, if you could call it that, between the 360 and PS3 fanboys. Personally I like the idea of the integration of Windows Live Messanger into Xbox Live, even more scope for communication with other people and I don't mind the new Keyboard attachment they'll be releasing to clip nto the bottom of the controller. Sure the 360 has supported USB keyboards for a long time but this just looks better and is more integrated rather than having a keyboard lying beside your console. I don't really see the point in the 360 Elite however, Microsoft officially announced it recently but I just don't see why there was no HD DVD player put in there. They put in a 120GB hard drive but you will be able to buy that separately anyway so the HDMI port as decent and all as it is won't be enough to jusify shelling out anohter cuple of hundred for a new console. The colour's nice too but who buys a console based on it's colour? I'll be sticking with my 360 Premium.

Got tickets for the Tottenham vs Sevilla UEFA Cup second leg so I'll be going to London for a few days to see that match on Thursday night, they're losing 2-1 going into the game but they have a crucial away goal. United are also playing their Champion's League second leg tonight against Roma also losing 2-1 but I back us to score at Old Trafford and go through.

Well I'll blog tomorrow so long as United win and I'm in the mood otherwise I'll be too depressed.......
