OVERDOSED STORIES, BLOG2: MY HERO! (if you think a bit you may understand this title)

Every village or city has… junkies. I may be wrong but the number of junkies is increasing a lot. It's better not to call them junkies: they are people that smoke stuff. Fortunately they don't go any further than smoking, I think but that's really none of my business. As I grew up I became to socialize more with them but I don't want to get too involved because people start gossips about situations that are not real. You hang out with them, you're one of them – that's the peoples thoughts. Anyway, they're people that I know, that I say "Hi" but they are not people that I want to get involved with because I'm not one of them. There are some of them that go further than weed or stone: that white stuff that I'm not going to mention the name of.

And of course there's a codename for everything: "Do you have wine? I want a bottle of it." Heroin has a different and funny name. "Hey, let's go to the summer night?" They call it "summer night". The weak ability to speak English of most of them and the stone transformed summer night into some other words: sammarta nite , sambara nighte, stanana night and ultimately "sammara nighte". This leads to a question: What the hell are they smoking?! Drugs do harm you kids so you better stay away from them!

According to a guy in my village, summer night in Portuguese means Saturday night…

There are days and days. Some days make you really happy and some make you really frustrated. Monday I was relaxed playing PES 2008 with a friend of mine until something frustrating happens. It was not exactly that moment that made me angry but was a succession of moments. Ever since we played that game there were in some moments were the player fails (it's a soccer game). Failing is human but do really people want to put failure in games? My friend makes a cross and my player scores a goal in my own goal. After failed attempts of putting the ball in my own goal, they finally made it!! I lost the match because of that. I was completely pissed off. I just wanted to smash the controller against the wall. This leads to a question: Trying to make the games more realistic is better or worse for the players? We all know that failure is a part of the human nature but do we want to buy a game for it to fail on us just to be more realistic? No matter what it's still a game; we should be having fun with them, not the otherwise.

As it wasn't enough I found out that the laziest, craziest person I know got a PSP!! She doesn't do anything everyday and she gets a PSP?! Me, a hardcore gamer that tries to help people and stays out of trouble doesn't get one. I'm one of the few persons in my village that would fully use a PSP and I'm the only one who doesn't get one.

Basically, and bad day…

P.S: I'm gonna start going to school again next week. I only have one class at Tuesday, one at Wednesday and one at Thursday.

THE OVERDOSED STORIES, BLOG 1: Introduction

What person in the world doesn't love a good story about villages or about people that live in villages? One of the reasons I prefer living in a small village is because of the people, not only because we can get along easier but also because it's a village. The smell of trees, the wind blowing up against the face, and of course there's much less pollution.

There are many interesting stories and people and I'll be talking about them every Monday in "The overdosed stories". Prepare to read about witches, hot summer nights and other amazing stories…

What are your thought about this idea?
