I really tried to fall in love with Final Fantasy XII, I really did. I put in 40 hours, but enough is enough. It's just not doing it for me. And I got a whole boat load of other RPGs that are waiting in line!
So here's Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga. I'm only about an hour or two in, but the game is already more interesting and more has happened in these two hours than the whole 40 hours I've put into Final Fantasy XII.
You win this round Atlus.
If you're reading this, you're probably wondering "Who really is this handsome devil?"
Well, I'm going to tell you. Here's some random things about me.
- I was born an East-coast Canadian with a dual citizenship to the United States.
- My main hobbies and interests include weight lifting, cooking, playing video games, reading and politics.
- I'm currently a few months away from getting my BA in Political Science and minor in History, plan on going for my BEd afterwards.
- The Favorites; Video Game: Ocarina of Time (sorry so predictable); Movie: Jurassic Park; Book: Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood; TV Show: Battlestar Galactica and Dexter; Music: Guns N' Roses; Sport: Broomball (play, Hockey (watch).
- If I was to define my political ideology I'd say I'm a social liberal.
- My favorite vacation spots are my childhood campgrounds and Cuba.
- If I was extraordinarily wealthy I'd spend my life in school just getting as many degrees as possible. I'd spend my free time traveling and pursuing my hobbies, and I would retire to a small farm.
- At some point in my life I want to write a book.
- What I think are the keys to a happy life: Good health, good company, good food, good sex, and some hobbies to pass the time.
- I'm so tough that one time a bee stung me and within seconds it died.
Bold strategy, Nintendo. But I'll see your "85 dollar repair fee" and up you "I'll just start buying games for PS3 and Xbox 360". Your move.
I hear Valkyrie Chronicles is pretty good, I think that will be first on my list.
