You guys may have notice me doing a rant about how some of today's cartoon shows suck from the ones that aired in the lates 80's to the Later 90's, and that anime shows are making it big here. But recently, I begining to see some change.

One of those changes would have to be animes. On YouTube, there hundeads of Abirdged shows that make fun of them. And awhile ago I started a thread about how what traits of Bleach is most annoying (like waiting week to week for long winded story arcs or that annoying minor characters getting too much screen-time) and alot of people replied with their own opinions within a short amount of time. Anime is stll good, but I think most teens today have seen so much of it, it all becoming cliche.

On the otherhand, cartoons are getting serious now. There is alot more shows that anone can enjoy. I had doubts about the Transformers Animated show, but it turn out good. The last four Transformers shows from Japan all seemed pretty much like the same, while the Animaed series seem to a touch from the early 90's show like Mario Bros, Sonic SatAM, and, of course, Beast Wars. There is rumor of another Sonic the hedgehog series, unknown what they're going to based it on the games, comics, or both.

Cartoons based on comics are also seem big. Spectacular Spider-Man brings the wall crawler to his REAL roots rather than that cheap One More Day recton or the over top movies. the only two downsides is that we have to wait for the movies to come out before producers will make Animated shows, We all know how the Batman Animated series lead to other shows like Superman, Batman Beyond, and Justice League all started from Tim Burton's work. the other downside that some producers pull the plug on the shows. WB canceled Loonatics after causing a big up roar when they mention the idea, but most people ended up enjoying it, and there aot of fans who are peeved at the fact the Legion of Superheores was canceled after two seasons when it only aired once a week on saturday mornings while the lousy shows, like the remake of George of Jungle, get about 5 timeslots over the weekend.
