I JUST came out of the movie theatre after seeing this. Like, 15 minutes ago. It was hard to explain.

I think the actor of Max was fantastic. He really took in all the thoughts of a real boy his age. The so-called "Wild things" acted like real people, too. So in a nutshell, the acting was good.

I didn't really expect too much out of the story since it's based on a children's book. Not saying the book DIDN'T have a story, but, I hope you know where I'm going with this. Now this movie, like a lot of people said, was violent. Boys Max's age will be aggressive with that. That's how boys are. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. The "Wild things" had their moments, too.

What threw me off was the CAMERA at the beginning. It was too shaky, but the rest of the film it was overall fine.

I know this review wasn't the best. I'm likely to edit it later. I just don't really know how to FULLY describe this picture.

I read all 4 books of the Twilight saga. In about, 5-6 months. Since I wouldn't BUY them, I waited to borrow them from various people which took awhile. I thought the 1st book was decent. The other 3, not so much.

3 days after I read the book in March, I rented the DVD. I did really want to see the movie. So I stayed up until 10:30 at night watching it. I was horrified. I didn't really expect much anyway, but REALLY? Is this a joke? This was barely like the book at all. Half of that crap never even happened. Bella never freaking went into Charlie's office after getting saved by Edward. Neither did she climb up tall trees with Edward. The camera jiggled a lot which drove me insane. I ususally dislike films based on books, so that's why. This movie is 1 of the reasons I REFUSE to see New Moon. Thanks and goodbye.

P.S. To all who like this film: I will not insult you. It's YOUR life, not mine. Everybody has a different opinion. That's okay.
