Getting a new computer always has its advantages as well as its disadvantages. Windows Vista. My disadvantage. You may already be asking why don't I just switch back to XP? It ain't that easy. It seems that the 1 GB of Kingston RAM and my onboard sound card aren't exactly XP compatible for some retarted reason. Believe me, I tried three different copies of XP that didn't work. My brothers and I were pretty pissed that we had to stay with Vista since that it's this one awful combination of Linux and something else that's jacked up, messed with, and was given to someone who was willing to take a chance.
Where can I start really? There are so many things wrong with this bag of software crap that you don't know where to start really. Start with the fact that it can't even perform Counter-Strike 1,6. with good frame rates. I know damn well it's not a hardware problem. I remember when I called Microsoft to see if I can switch to XP. I also asked if I could play CS 1.6. on Vista. He gave me a clear answer: No. Next thing I knew, I was playing CS 1.6. on Vista. You know it's amazing on how Microsoft workers don't even know about their own operating system. CS didn't even play that great. It couldn't even keep a stable 60 FPS and as you know it's an old game in which you can run it with a 8 MB chipset. At least I was able to.
I know for a fact it wasn't a hardware issue because I was able to have F.E.A.R. play with most settings at max on 800x600 and it was pretty playable. So why can't CS be the same way? It has to be an OS problem. That's what I keep saying. Because I get the same FPS on FEAR Combat with CS 1.6. Scary, isn't it?
I'll explain more on another entry.
The only time I'm on here is when I just check on reviews and previews. Nothing else. I don't have time for fourms or unions as you can see because I haven't posted anything on forums in a while. You can also see in my collection is that more than 70% of it is sold and gone. Got a good amount for everything. I've also gone and staying on PC games.
This will probably be one of my last enteries. If not, my last. Had a good run with GS, but everything that has a beginning has an end.
