Hello everyone!

As the topic states, I'm going backwards On my wii that is! I just purchased a gamecube memorycard, a controller(to bad not the original nintendo one! wasn't able to find one anywhere, might buy it online soon) and Prince of Persia; Sands of time.

I never played the PoP series, but I've seen some friends of mine play it, and it always looked very cool, just never got to it. So now I'm playing the first part of the series, and I'm loving it! The only wierd thing from the wii is that I have to reboot it when I want to play a Wii game after a gamecube game, but that isn't that bad, since it only takes a few seconds.

So I'm currently playing Zelda TP and Prince of Persia sands of time. A good combination for my Wii!

So, I've watched Trainspotting, and I have to say I was a little dissapointed. I kind of expected it to be like Fear and loathing in las vegas, or some other drugsmovie like that. The story was kind of ok, and the overal atmosphere the whole drugtheme had wasn't that good in my opinion. The first part was really good, with the toilet scene, but after that it kind of stopped being as good as the opening. I still enjoyed it, since I like movies with these kind of themes. I would give it 7.5 out of 10.

My girlfriend is having her first week of work in the hospital, and so far she thinks it's nice to be apart of the section she works in. Kind people and so on make work alot more fun(points out to my own workspace-.-). So if your injured, make sure you contact her, she needs the practice

I made a little promotion at work. For the ones that don't know yet, I work at TNT(postal service) where I load and unload trucks for the most part, and arrange all the mail to the desired places. I'm captain of my section, wich is ok, but most people that work there are uneducated baboons. Anyway, the managers kind of like me(in a non ass-kissing way) and gave me the oppertunity to work in the office aswell. I will still be working my ass of inside of the hangar, but at least I have some days that I can spend behind a desk and my own brand new Dell computer It's boring work, but it will give my muscles some rest, because the work inside the hangar is not for wussies

So, I'm of taking a shower, eating some breakfast, and playing some games until I have to go to work again Thank god I'm starting my second education in september...I need to get a real job(no offense to people that work at postal services as a real job, you just don't know the people I have to work with)

Seeya around!

Zero.

Oh man that's really nice. The last Nintendo console I bought was the SNES... I really want to have a Gamecube as well (not to mention the Wii ) But all my money is spent on 360 games these days, I'm not able to save anything for other stuff. Anyway, congrats on your "promotion". I suppose it is really nice to have some office work now and then, but I guess it can be pretty boring as well sometimes.

My mother was a nurse. I was her test subject. Congrats on the promotion! I think I saw a small portion of Train Spotting and it wasn't my thang.

Heya guthwulf, thanks!
The 360 is a great system to invest in. Played alot on it, but atm i'm hooked on nintendo...wii, ds, gamecube. It's all so accesable and fun Not to mention hardcore gaming aswell(i consider zelda tp a hardcore adventure game).

Yeah Prince of Persia is really cool so far, I think I'm on 12% or something now, unlocked a few new story parts, and I'm stuck on a puzzel atm. Well, not stuck, just having a hard time completing it It's the one where you have to push all the levers on a big plateau(with blue cones).

Thanks quadraleap
That should have been a pain, your mother being a nurse and all Did she ever make something worse? Or was she like, the best nurse ever who made your life 10 times better?

Seeya all,

She was a good nurse that also hand picked my doctors and dentists. =) THe only haunting thing was she brought food back from the hospital and we swear it was something the patient(s) didn't eat on their plate. Wonder how many germs she brought home?

Iiieeeewww I always tell ym girlfriend not to bring any germs home

I only played through The Two Thrones from the PoP series... I need to get the other two. Its a pretty awesome series... And yea working in a Postal Office doesn't sound like the best of jobs but at least it pays the bills eh?

Yeah wolf, alot of people are telling me the first part is best in the series, while the other have slightly better graphics.

Haha nice way to play the series cifru, got inspired by star wars?

Heya stubby, no it's not, but I had to get a job quick so I could work and save money for the comming 9 months or so, so I will have enough cash for my second education. It's kind of expensive

where were you?

Every job is important wether it's cleaning the toilets somewhere or finding a cure for cancer. However I think some people don't really aspire for better...I mean it's alright to work a disgusting job as a teenager or as a part-time job during studies, but you gotta aim higher at some point. Unless it's a passion...but then again who has a passion for cleaning dirty cabinets?

As for Trainspotting, I think it's been overrated with the years, it suffered from its own hype and became, like Fear & Loathing, categorized as a drug movie, banishing all story and morale in it. *SPOILERS* When Renton gets the hell out of there in the end with the bag of money, you could think he's off to party like crazy while I thought of it more as a "screw you" to his mates and past, giving him the opportunity for a fresh start. *END SPOILERS*

But, I mean, "drugs are bad" isn't necessarely the message here. The state of each character as an addict of some sort only serves as a vehicle for deeper reflexion. But, drugs are still bad.

While working as a captain at TNT isn't THAT bad as cleaning the toilets, I will aim higher then that after my second education
And I actually think I read an article somewhere, about elderly women who had great passion for cleaning toilets and so on I'm not kidding

While fear and loathing in las vegas isnt about drugs, it sure does have alot of it in the movie, that's what I ment with drugthemed movies^^
And yeah, I was thinking at the at of trainspotting, will he use the money on smack and party? Start over again? Overall it was a fun movie, but I didn't know if there was a message in it somewhere, and what the message should be?

@xploded Heya m8, I'm back since a few weeks. Read my other blogs!
