GAMES: GameSpot GameFAQs MOVIES: Metacritic Movietome Comic-Con

Has anybody else noticed that user reviews are sometimes pretty weird? What I mean is that they don't correspond to the ratings at all. Gamespot and other profession reviews are usually pretty good. If a game got an 8+ the review explains why it's so good, and if it got a bad rating then the review explains the game's faults. Not so with many user reviews. Many people title their review "Rent it first" then go on to give the game an exceedingly high mark, which is somewhat confusing. This seems to be a pretty consistent trend. People almost refuse to give ratings below a 7, yet they can call a game terrible in the written review. Sort of just boggles the mind, I suppose. So anyway, try and write reviews that make more sense in the future, everyone, for the sake of us all. Thank you, and goodnight.
