Hey everyone here at GS, how has life been treating you guys? It took me awhile to finally decide to make another blog. Im actually typing this blog though for that very reason. Why has everyone here become so inactive? Why has so many of my old friends disappear out of sight? Its been really quiet at GS from what it use to be since when i first joined years ago It just isnt the same place when most of my friends leave like that This is part of the reason for my own inactivity, I suppose i am not helping the problem but its hard to be around when i dont have much to do. I soon have to do a friend list clean out and its hard to do that when i dont know who is present or not, so if you are still around post something. Its going to be hard cutting some people from the list this time

In Life News: I started my second semester at school. Its not so bad but its not as good as it use to be last semester. Math is my first period and its really boring but im doing fine as far as work goes. History is horrible in all shapes and forms, Nice teacher, bad c.l.a.s.s of course they will take advantage of him. My third period is computer art, this is probably the only period i really like to go to, some of my friends are in there and computer art is pretty easy as a whole. Finally I have Food Prep., Its not pretty in there thats all im going to say This is going to be a long year thats for sure.

In Gaming News: Its strange......... i have this section when nothing is going on here. I havent played a new game since Ultimate Ninja Storm and how long ago was that Im bored out of my mind. I need a new game, any recommendations. Im more of an RPG guy myself.

Rant 1: "Old shows and movies versus anew" you guess ever notice how the old shows and movies were so much better then the new garbage put on tv nowadays. From the transition to 08 to 09 they have had alot of marathons showing off older shows and movies that are no longer in the making. I rather enjoyed them to. Its disappointing to see the newer stuff suck so bad in comparison to the past generations. Horrors movies are nothing like they use to be. scripts were better, storylines held together, and even though visual effects werent as good, they artist did pretty good with what they had to work with. In present time on the other hand, movies are seemingly rushed with weak storylines that doesnt really make that much sense for a fast blockbuster. Television shows have suffered the same fate. Some of my old favorite cartoon shows have been replaced with things i cant believe kids would want to see. real shows like Xena dont exist either. will there ever be a show like it, from the look of things, I highly doubt it. The new direction of the media isnt exactly something to be proud of. If you have some time, look at all the old channels you use to watch way back when, do you see anything different?

Rant 2: "Moral values to the extreme" Not too long ago my family got into a discussion i found kind of interesting. Do you believe that it is right for an 18 year old student to date their teacher who is much older then them? I personally believe myself that it should be allowed but avoided if possible. Anyone 18 or older is legally an adult and should be allowed to do as they wish. It may seem odd and almost strange but if thats what that particular person wants to do, by all means let them. I like to keep an open mind myself so i can only accept it. Others believe that its should not be allowed at all and should be banned for an 18 year old student to date their teacher. What do you think guys?

P.S: by the way, if you arent able to understand the meaning of my title and quote, shame on you

Zen cya around guys

I've been wondering that myself

Good luck with everything

I haven't played a new game since SSBB

Eh, only shows I ever watch are House, NCIS, Law And Order, X-play, and Lost, so it really dosn't bother me, there is ALOT of $#!% though...

My stance on that: Let people do **** they like so long as it dosn't hurt anyone, what right does anyone have to tell some one else how to run their life?

Can I stay on your friends list?
Posted Jan 20, 2009 4:13 pm PT
Darth-Caedus: Among those shows im sure you noticed that X-play has changed alot, it isnt as good as it use to be. lol I love your views on the dating subject

Ani: if you really had to ask

Well you know I am still around here, and yeah you are right about it being quiet again. I guess cause everyone is in school again I guess. And I agree about the old show vs the new stuff. I wish a lot of the old shows I use to watch would come back on again.
Posted Jan 20, 2009 7:06 pm PT
Yeah, its not as good as it was, but its still my favorite review source

I don't know why GS has become so inactive. Before like in 2007, early 2008, it was SO ACTIVE. Like, it was THE place to be. I'm guessing the Jeff and staff may have gotten to them. But the union I lead, has currently become very active, more than it has in a long time, so I'm happy about that. I'm still here, if anything!

That really dissapoints me when a class takes advantage of a nice teacher, always doing something to piss someone off. It simply isn't like how it used to be. Food prep?

I haven't really played any new games lately... aside from Burnout Paradise. I'll take it easy on the gaming side, since I'm really getting back into GS. I really miss the old shows... I grew up watching them and they were such an important part of my childhood, and now they're not on anymore. Some shows are just terrible nowadays and don't really have great moral values anymore. Society... has changed. For the worse? Maybe.

It is alright for an 18 year old to date anyone they want... it's their life. Just as long as it doesn't interfere with anything, I don't think there's a problem.

I like that quote.

Colmillios: Im glad your still around, you and a few others are still keeping me around. I dont know or not if its because of school but a whole mass of people have left I dont think there will ever be any shows as good as some of the old ones.

Darth-Caedus: I still watch it too but i really do miss there actually funny skits and mean attitudes.

Zeromus: Even before then when i first joined GS a few years ago, this place was storming with new people to meet everyday, i cant believe the absence of Jeff could have had so a huge chain reaction on everything else Good news about your union though, atleast some activity is still present. Its also a good thing that your still around, your one of the few that still keep this place together.

I hate it too, i wish they wouldnt. Its not everyday that you come across such a teacher As for the cooking class, ill leave it at this, its choatic.

Im tired of taking it easy myself, besides naruto, i have been game free for some time now, bored to no ends. I agree, I got to see some of the best shows around but nowadays i dont see anything of value like before. The new shows dont hold any moral value or life lessons, just random garbage. Society in my opinion has changed for the worst.

I agree Zeromus and thanks for the complement, im glad you got it.

Well I am still active! Even with a busy life. Good luck ! I don't play much anymore.
Posted Jan 21, 2009 7:55 am PT
naruto_444: Thank you, the banner is my latest work

Nightmare-_-: Thats good, my reason for staying is because of the friends i have left and game information.

Primo295: Im glad you have stuck around aswell as the others. sucks about the gaming though
Posted Jan 21, 2009 12:02 pm PT
yea a few of my friends are gone now too but it happens
Posted Jan 21, 2009 7:41 pm PT
murat: The same thing seems to be happening to all of us apparently

I got really bored with GS for months now. Friends making less blogs than usual isn't helping nor slow running unions. I have not looked at my friend list for awhile but I can tell when something is in need of a cutting. It may be mistaking but there may be a new site out there that is vacuuming all of GS's user or others just got bored as I am. Either way, I'm still here though.

For me, schedule never amuses no matter what it is. It may get better but never fully satisfy. I'm sure you will get use to it and stuff. Have of the school year is over. We are almost there.

Television have definitely went down hill and I would say that it have been that way since 2005. You would that with better technology come better entertainment. Man was I wrong by a 100 miles. I really don't watch TV anymore to tell you the truth. I use the internet now to watch the older show. The TV is just a gaming and movie component now. Sad but it is certainly the truth.

I really think there should be a limit but in general... sure. I never really thought or heard of this controversy before. Very interesting. Banning a 10 years difference maybe.

The quote is definitely a double sided one. I like it.
Posted Jan 23, 2009 7:49 pm PT
Well my internet has been off so that should explain my inactivity but many of my friends have just left without telling me, and a game that I think you should check outt would probably be Mass Effect if you have a 360
Posted Jan 24, 2009 1:47 am PT
Legend: same here, well i havent been completely bored but it has not been as fun as it use to be. One of my biggest disappointments is that friends on here are disappearing without notice, and the ones that are still around dont talk as much anymore. At first it was GB that was taking all of the users but then for some reason many got tired of the site really fast

you are right about that legend, my schedule over time has gotten a little better since i typed this blog. I still hate my History class more then anything though. The only problem is come summer, come jobs i have to work for.

I guess the improvement of technology isnt everything in accordance to what i saw For me i use the internet alot to find animes that i have yet to watch and the tv is just used for gaming and movies too. I dont think there should be a limit except for both participates being older then 18. Thats their problem if the person they are with ages too fast for them or they just dont look well together.

thank you legend and also thank you for sticking around a bit longer

Star-Killer: My internet has always been on and my friends have not been telling me they are leaving for good Mass effect huh? I have heard it is pretty good and i do so happen to have a 360, i guess there is no harm in picking it up.
Posted Jan 24, 2009 7:56 am PT
Yeah sometimes its rly "painful" clean those friends of the list who dont appear here for awhile...but i always try to make my list smaller cuz as they say " better less and good then more and bad"
Keep going and lots of luck in Math...computer arts sounds pretty nice.. i wish to have that...it seems here we dont have that...and if its easy for you, better.
If you like RPG maybe you should buy (i dont know if you have this one) Fallout3.... it will pull you right into it and im sure you will waste lots of hours with it.... i dont have the game but once im finish with the exams ill borrow it.
I agree.... the new shows suck pretty bad.... but still im lucky to have my old favorite shows passing on tv...but sooner or later they will be gone

Wooo 18 years old dude gets on with a teacher...right on.... well its a bit strange but since he is 18 he doesnt need to worry about nothing...he is all by himself...at least if i had hot teachers in my school

It would be good if our lives were like music....and changed when you were in an happy moment or something...shame on me

It's been a long time since I've been on Gamespot. It's kinda got boring here as of late and it's lost most of it's magic that drew me here so long ago. But how are you Zen? I've been meaning to see what you've been up to as of late.

I for one, haven't played a new game in a while. Nothing good is coming out till around the Summer. Prototype is something i'm pretty excited about. And I really want to get a PS3 for LittleBig PLanet and Infamous. Uncharted 2 will be out in few months too.

I've been thinking about this TV thing a lot too. But I think you got it kinda wrong. It's not that shows are getting worse, it's we're growing up and our standards for quality entertainment is higher. I mean, I would never watch the dribble of iCarly or The Naked Brother Band, but those shows are watched. At least this is my theory.

I think an 18 year old should be allowed to date anyone he/she chooses, regardless of age. But a teacher? I don't think that would work. If said student gets a good grade on a test, other students are bound so say that the grade came out of the teacher dating that person and because of this, that would be really hard on both student and teacher. Also, if they broke up it would be extremely awkward to be around each other. If the student graduates I think it should be alright to date the teacher, but not while in the same school.

Those are my thoughts. It's nice to hear from you again.

Maikedi: I agree, quality over quantity is so much better then its vice versa. Computer arts is actually my favorite class on the list. Its not really that popular of a class yet because it was only made this school year i think. No i have not played Fallout 3 yet, its suppose to be like Oblivion but with guns so ive been told. I dont know if thats a good thing or not because i have yet to play that game too. same here, a few of my favorite old shows have made a few appearances so its not all bad but they will be gone again soon enough.

it doesnt have to be a guy exactly it could be an 18 year old girl, either way its fine. Now i couldnt help but notice that you made a indirect remark about your teachers at your school mind explaining that

nah the music would probably get tiring over time, and yes shame on you for that one
well anyways nice meeting you Maikedi, hope to see you around again.

Nagaki-kun: Lots of the magic has gone away and sometimes i still wonder why i still show up around here but im hoping that since the magic left then maybe it will also come back again some day. As for me, Im fine for the most part, just confused at the disappearance of all ,my old friends.

Prototype was one of the big ones i have been waiting for too. I thought it was coming out last year but it got pushed back and improved so it isnt so bad after all, still cant wait though.

Thats has crossed my mind too Nagaki but it isnt entirely that way. remember how i said i got to see some of my old shows through marathons, well i saw some of them and they still rock like they use to and are way better then the new material. So i dont think its all because of my aging, i was afraid that i wouldnt like them anymore but i was glad i was wrong.

Your actually one of the few who has mention this side of it, i was wondering if anyone would bring attention to that like my family has. Of course that may not always be the case but its a pretty good analysis of what could happened. Thanks for the feed back Nagaki-kun, always nice to hear from an old friend.
