This is one of the more original horror movie since...forever. The premise is so much better than that of your normal slasher film. The suspense builds throughout the entire film, whereas most slasher films are: fifteen minutes of intro, horrible murder, characters freaking out, another horrible murder...blah blah blah. At least in Saw, you get some buildup between the horrible murders.
