It's taken me a year of playing Tales of the Abyss on and off, but I finally beat the first Legretta battle. Why did it take me so long? Well, for one, I was severely underleveled (Lv. 23 all around), andfor another, I was playing as the wrong character. I've found that Jade works much better than Luke or Guy when I'm playing as him.
I've been playing Tales of Symphonia as well, and I finally got to Tethe'lla (I think that's the spelling) last night. It's good to see a new area of the game, but it came as a shock since I wasn't too high of a level at that point. I still haven't had a chance to try out many of theunison attacks with Presea and Zelos. I'm playing as Genis and Shenna (switching out occaisionally), biding my time until I get Regal on my team. Oh, of only they had snuck in "Rider Kick" as a hiddenunison attack. That would have been epic.
A third game I've been playing is Legend ofSpyro: A New Beginning. I'm almost done with the game, having only the final boss battles to go. The game is great, thoughmuch too short when compared to the other entries. I can't wait to finish this one so I can get Legend of Spyro:Eternal Night. I've also been playing Spyro the Dragon: Season of Ice on the Spyro the Dragon Superpack, and I love it. Feel like part of the original Spyrotrilogy, but still part of the later games. Makes me want to get Spyro: A Hero's Tail and Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly.
Speaking of old Playstation games, I'm really wanting to play the GBA Crash Bandicoot games. I need to find a copy of the Crash Bandicoot Superpack so I can play them. After that, I'll pick up Crash Bandicoot Purple and Spyro the Dragon Orange, the two crossover games. Ooh, maybe I should find copies of Croc: Legend of Gobbos and Croc 2 for the GBC and PS1as well. I miss that series. It'd be great to see Croc come back. Maybe have a new PS2 adventure as a budget title.
Wow, maybe I should do a video/make a blog post about old-school platformer series that died out or didn't see a sequel when they needed it. Well, that'll have to wait. I've got games to play.
