Work has been piling on top of me as of late, but I'll try to get on whenever I can, and when I'm not playing Batman Arkham Asylum. Heh, Batman AA is an unbelievable game where for once you actually feel like the Dark Knight. Aside from all the other Batman games which featured Batman beating up enemies a la Final Fight, but a whole lot worse. Developers somewhat forgot that Batman just doesn't walk down streets placing the beat down on thugs, robots, and villains. It just didn't work that way. Batman researches his opponents, strikes from the dark, and is human when it comes to bullets. And this is what Arkham Asylum does so well. Sure there are areas where you have to battle a lot of henchmen, but there are areas where you have to take it slower and plan out your moves to avoid being riddled with bullets. All in all, Batman Arkham Asylum is a perfect Batman game. Plus it has the great voice actors from the Animated Series (including Mark Hamil!).
I've been going a little crazy grabbing all the achievements for that game. Addicting achievement hunting can be. Also frustrating if you know what I mean. But hopefully I should be back with more witty blogs about anything that piques my interest.
Speaking of work, I recently got promoted to a new position, with the key part being I make more money, but get to deal with customers who just plain ol' suck. It's never fun to deal with people's problems, even so when they try to twist your words or they don't listen/read anything. Because reading is fun kids. It's how you get ahead in life. It's also how you understand the fine print of damn ****ing coupons. Not my damn problem you didn't read it. ****ers.
So that's what's been going on lately. Yay! *groans*

Congratulations on your promotion: As you say, the money is the reason.
In those circumstances I'm always happy to, as Steve Miller Band put it, "Take the Money and Run" with it.
As far as Batman goes, it certainly looks like an interesting game but not particularly my kind of thing. The production values look really high though.

I keep hearing how great Batman AA is!!! I find it hard to believe it is better than the Batman game that came out on the Genesis!!!

Agreed, BAA is a real good game, but I wish there were more villains in it. I guess that just leaves more room for Batman: Gotham City to branch off. As for the customers, well, we all know they can be special sometimes

Ya, ya, blame it on work
we all know what you're really up to...

Mark Hamill as the Joker is a good sign and I've read great things from the game but I have not played it. Looks like fun though. Good luck with the customers, I have to talk to mine every single day and in rapid succession even. Takes some time getting used to but I have faith in you!!

Well, at least it's sound like some of your mod skills should translate into the job

Glad that you are liking Batman: AA. It seems like just about everyone has. Congrats on the promotion!

@-DarthMaul-: But it's not small print. It's just on the reverse side of the card that no one seems to look at or read. Thanks.
@gbrading: Haha. I may get more training and a new job. May being the key word here.
You should really check it out. It's that good.
@ArmoredCore55: Thanks.
@katamari: It is better! Immensely better. You should get it for your PS3.
@NailBail: That was the only drawback. That it was short, but they do leave enough villains for a sequel. Oh yes. Customers can be special at times.
@horseyjesse: And what am I really up to?
@clownofpoetry: I had to deal with customers in rapid succession, but it was to help them with their orders, not problems now. Customers can be evil as well. Damned evil if they want.
@PJ24: Although I can't suspend or ban people in real life. Darnit.
@hank_101: It's great. Have you played it?
Thanks.
