I discovered this today at my school and it's very sad and moving...

Invisible Children are kids in Uganda that are being abducted and brainwashed to fight for the Rebel Forces who are trying to take down the government. These children are taken from their families and brutally beaten (mostly killed) to strike fear into them. This horrible crime has been going on for years and yet no one will stand up to make clear that something has to be done about this...until now. They have been invisible. How come we can quickly rush to the aid of the troubled state of Florida when Hurricane Katrina strikes, but ignore the suffering of innocent children in Uganda for so long? These kids don't ask for much nor do they have much, but now they have one prayer: peace. Please do whatever you can to help these children, whether it be a donation or simply spreading the word so that others may know of the suffering going on in Uganda at this time.
