I love the original Playstation. It's the only console ever that I've prefered over it's Nintendo competition. I have a lot of fond memories of Final Fantasy 9 & 7, Digimon World 3, Spider-Man, and others. So I was really happy to find my old Playstation lying around in my closet. Unfortunately back then I usually sold my old games to Bookman's, a local used entertainment store, but I still have a handfull of games.

So I decided I'd build up the old collection. Browsing at Bookman's I saw Spider-man for six dollars, so I was like, "what the hey" and bought it. I also found Mega Man 8 for ten and bought it, since Mega Man is so cool and all. But I'm still looking for cool games that I used to have or missed out on, so feel free to throw out some suggestions, faithful and still here readers.

But yesterday, My baby nephew pulled my Playstation down and broke it, so I have to buy a new one. I've seen the sleek PS1 on half.com for 25 dollars including shipping, so it shouldn't be that big of a deal. Luckily I've always wanted the smaller PS1 anyways, I've always thought it was just the coolest thing. Still a big drag right when I was getting in to it, lol.

I'm playing a PlayStation as well, but it's a PlayStation 2. It can play PSOne games and it's own library. You can still buy those new for cheap. It's also compatible for old PSOne controllers and Memory cards.

Yeah, bookmans is totally awesome. I get all kinds of stuff from there. And the PS1 spidermans probably were the coolest, since they weren't movie games.

@nintendoboy16
Hehe, I know all that. I actually really do prefer the playstation1. My PS2 is broken too, and when it did, I was kinda just like "meh".

Thanks for your comments everyone, it's nice to know that somebody reads these.

Moving huh? Get ready for a cold winter, lol. I was so obsessed with those games. I bought the second one like right after I beat the first one. It was funny how I still remembered the levels. I always played with the venom costume. Much fun was had.

That one looked interesting, but alas, with the lackluster reviews (atleast on Wii, if I remember correctly) and my saving money, I don't think I'll be picking it up for quite a while. Good Luck finding a job!

@nestorafranco

Hehe, it's funny that you should mention MegaMan x4, I just saw it there yesterday. I was like "Awesome! ...but my ps1 is broken. ._." Metal Gear Solid was there for 25 too, maybe I should try it out. Thanks for your suggestions!

Sure is. n_n If you found them in a used shop I'm sure they'd be pretty cheap.

I got my old PS1 in my old room at my parents place and my brother PS1 is somewhere in the basement. When your nephew gets older and a job, you can bill him with interest. Maybe for a PS6 by then.
