Before the third season of Desperate Housewives began all of the producers were saying that they believed that season three would be much better than season two, and it was at first. However, as the season progressed my enjoyment in the show began to decrease mainly because of the minimal screen time for Marcia Cross due to her pregnancy which I can understand couldn't be helped, but my decreasing enjoyment in Desperate Housewives isn't just because of that. My enjoyment of the show as a whole has really gone down this year. The writing just isn't very good this year. Don't get me wrong, Desperate Housewives is still a great show, I'm just simply not enjoying it as much as I used to. Hopefully, Desperate Housewives will go back to being the great show that I know that it's capable of being for the fourth season when Marcia Cross returns.

Brothers & Sisters however has been great all season long. All of the episodes are great. All of the writing and all of the characters are great. It has a great cast. I'm absolutely thrilled that Eric Winter is going to be on the show since he's one of my favorite actors. Hopefully, the producers of Brothers & Sisters will get their way and Eric will be able to appear regularly. Brothers & Sisters really has been a great show, and I am always finding myself sitting around being very anxious for Brothers & Sisters to start while I watch Desperate Housewives. Given the fact that I have enjoyed Brothers & Sisters a lot more than Desperate Housewives this year, I plan to buy the Brothers & Sisters season DVD set before I buy the Desperate Housewives season three DVD set since I more than likely won't have enough money to buy them both at once.
