#12- A Night in Casablanca (1946)

CAS

GROUCHO: (when a dog won't get off the sofa) "I wish he'd get up and give me a seat. It should be easy for him he's got twice as many legs."

#13- Love Happy (1949)

Lov

GROUCHO: "I am the same Sam Grunion who solved the interantion uranium mining swindle. The FBI was baffled. Scotland Yard was baffled. They sent for me and the case was solved instantly...I confessed."

Groucho made solo films as well, but the movies with his brothers are his biggist tickets to fame. Be sure to wish him a happy birthday! Also, if you missed the last blog on Bud Abbott be sure to check that one out too. Until then, hail and farewell!

Hi Woolsey, Happy B-Day Groucho! The one I remember is, "So you say your a singer, a singer you say .... funny you don't look like a sewing machine." For those of you who don't get it Singer is the famous sewing machine brand/make.

Hi Woolsey. I remember hearing the news when he died, some time in 1977. We lost Charlie Chaplin, Bing Crosby and, of course, Elvis, that same year. Happy 119th, Groucho! Incidentally, Saturday will be my paternal grandfather's 110th.
