P.S: Some of the picture quality will be poor because all the photos were taken with a Nokia N72 and a Nokia 6233, the reason being I and my friends don't have digicams.

I visited the Queensland Amusement Park on the outskirts of my city yesterday and decided to share a few photos of it here. Though not as good as another amusement park here named Dizzee World, it still offered loads of fun and some good 'adrenaline-pumping' moments especially since I was with friends and it was a very nice experience overall.

The entry point to the park:

The first ride - Freefall - which goes up to a pretty good height and falls down as if in freefall (hence the name). Though not as exciting as it sounds, the ride offered a pretty good warm-up for a few bigger rides later.

This one is called the Spider. I already have migraine which gives me headaches once in a while and this one started it for the day. Though the headaches never completely went away for the day, I still ventured into all the rides.

The next ride was called Enterprise and looked easy enough and they were playing One Love by Blue, so I couldn't resist but it ended up aggravating the migraine I picked up from the previous ride.

This was probably the worst roller-coaster I have been to. The one in the other amusement park I mentioned has two sequence where you are upside-down and offers great thrills but this one had none and was basically a shame for the 'roller-coaster' name.

Someone thought this would scare people so they put it up in a dark place but it ended up being more funny than anything else. The ride's name was Dark House fittingly. (PS: Very poor pic quality because of the darkness)

The cable-car bored us to death. It went across the park at the speed of a snail and was basically a waste of twenty minutes. The outskirts of the city and scenery looked good but overall it was pretty boring.

There was also a Kart track that was pretty darn fun. The cars handled pretty well. The minus was that the accelerator and the brake were to be controlled by the same leg and it was slightly difficult doing that in motion. Still, one of the best "rides" in the park.

I couldn't resist capturing these two images because of the beautiful view they offered. I love the first one, the sunlight reflecting on water always gets me going.

The final ride was called Disco Fly and was the worst ride I have ever been on. Unfortunately I don't have photos of it but will try to explain the experience here. It tilted sideways in an angle and went so fast that the centrifugal force kept me pushed down. When the ride was moving one of my friends asked me to life my hand and I couldn't, such was the air force pushing us down. When it stopped, I felt more wobbly than I had ever felt and thanked God that we chose it as the last ride.

Overall, this trip to the amusement park reminded me of the fun that they can offer especially with friends. Finally, hope you enjoyed the photos as much as I enjoyed the day.
